The cottage was perfect for us and the location was just right it is a beautiful cattage and area. The rooms were beautil large but still cost.

Would have liked a downstairs toilet as I was travelling with 2 people in their 80's. But the cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and was easily manageable

Big and comfy house, very big garden, outside of town, very nice and helpful hosts, has basic utilities to self catering, comfortable beds, warm bedrooms. Overall it's a very good choice and we recommend it.

A little bit close to the road (not on the road, a bit farther, but you can still hear cars) so you can hear the cars passing by. Not a big deal though. A toilet downstairs would be nice to have (there are 2 upstairs, one in each room).

Easy to collect keys, good communication beforehand, well equipped spacious cottage.

Cozy spacescious and my daughter loved "secret hide away" in her room. We found toiletries on the second day in the cupboard in bathroom. Much appreciated however we had our own. Town is Beautiful. Sweetshop never had my favourite sweets ( peanut sweets) I used to eat them as a child. However plenty Rhubarb custard... the Gentleman in the shop tried to serve as quick as he could unfortunately card machine was down. I was going to pay cash..but he insisted I jad to wait while he fixed it as the next person might need to use card? Be patient please. 🙏🏼 Also he has wrote a book about a vat visiting Rye and writes about his shop? Excellent for the young children I bought this for my daughter ❤ and she took it to school for her teacher to read to the class. Fantastic memory of our trip.
