"Peaceful, comfortable and enjoyed our stay."

The location was perfect for my sister and I. Location was quiet and peaceful. Beech is at bottom of driveway across road. Small park near by for walking dog. We have booked to return next year 😁

It would be good to have WiFi. We did manage without it though

The location, the facilities, the extra welcoming touches e.g. welcome pack. All great!

The only thing was the bed was a bit too firm for our comfort. Appreciate that others might prefer a firm bed, but for us, it resulted in very little sleep.

"Mixed bag"

The cottage is surprisingly spacious. Especially the main bedroom.  The kitchen is properly appointed allowing you to cook. There are two supermarkets nearby .  Full size bath with (albeit old) electric shower. Heated towel rail handy for drying wet clothes.  Good cupboard space.  Tea, coffee, milk, biscuits provided on entry - thank you.  Heating works well on timer and plug-in heater warms quickly.  TV big enough although remote needs new batteries.  Property set back from the road, so very quiet, but only 10 minutes drive from Dunoon.  No WiFi but the 5G is good enough to stream a firestick with your phone as a hot spot.  Neighbours are friendly and live there permanently.  It's a Dog friendly property. Neighbours also have friendly dogs. 

Multiple fake reviews on this site for this property. On entry, the downstairs rug and sofas were quite hairy. It felt like they'd been missed during cleaning. Yes, it's cheap, but cleanliness should be a given at any price point.  The grey sofa is painfully uncomfortable to sit on and gave me back ache. We actually left a day earlier than planned rather than spend another evening on it. The front door needs replaced for something more secure. Any burglar would get access in seconds. Something for lone women to consider.  Parking is fine for an SUV; however, the driveway is very steep and I suspect a low (sports) car might scrape the underside at the top of the driveway. Our estate car only just made it. Also, it is very dark at night for bedtime dog visits, so you may wish to bring a torch.  The cleaning products used on the hob cause it to smoke badly when switched on. We had to clean it off and open the windows to let the smoke out.  The general fit and finish feels a bit slap dash "that'll do for a rental." ie Paint over spill, ill-fitting wallpaper, marks on the walls etc. It's acceptable at £84 a night, but I couldn't help but think a bit more investment and tlc and you could +50% the rental price.

Un petit logement cosy et charmant au calme, nous avons trouvé du thé, du café, des shorbreads et du lait au frigo en arrivant . Merci

Ce serait bien d'avoir le wifi, mais nous savions avant de réserver qu'il n'y était pas.
