Very cosy, love the fire

Cosy setting with a lovely log fire. All essentials were there for cooking.

The only issue we felt was the bed, as Im 6ft 3 it could have done with being more sturdy and larger! but thats a common issue for me, its not a complaint but just something to be aware of.

This is a gem of a find. The property is well designed, in keeping with the origins of its use; a milking shed. It has been lovingly restored, keeping many of its original features. It is cosy, clean and has many thought out amenities for guest use. Alice (the owner) was very responsive to any questions and more than happy to help. The log fire is gorgeous and adds a further cosy atmosphere to a property already draped in comfort and beauty. This provides more than enough heat to the property. The kitchen has everything that is needed and is easily accessible. The bedroom area is cosy and the bed extremely comfy. A perfect little hideaway to shut yourself away from the world for a few days.

Quaint, rustic and well finished. The log burner is easy to use and there was plenty of wood. Kept it cozy and warm.Owners on hand when needed. Kitchen well equipped..need a bigger frying pan though 😆 Beautifull little property.

A light in the drive or outside area. Bigger frying pan. Some sort of shelving in the bathroom for wash equipment. Bathroom was cold 😔

It was perfect, so quiet and exactly what we needed. Couldn't fault it at all. So quirky and different

Nothing we didn't like

The cottage was clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen has all of the cooking essential and appliances. There is also an iron and hairdryer. The log burner is great for keeping warm and cosy. We loved it at the milking shed 🐮🥰

The bed is quite small and could do with some new bedding.
