Very helpful and good room for the night

The staff was friendly and kind and very helpful. Everything was clean. Would go there again in the future

The hotel is lovely, very quaint. We we’re entitled to a complementary drink on arrival which was really nice. Excellent location for purple parking which is 2 mins on same road. The staff were the best and most attentive I’ve ever come across. My only negative was the noise, we expected plane noise, however the noise from other guests made it impossible for us to sleep. So if hotel could improve in any way I would say some soundproofing on internal walls. There is a chef and brewer 5 minutes drive away where we got a delicious meal.

Our room appeared to be an add-on to the main hotel. Very small, noisy, and hot.

Stayed two separate single nights. First night not a comfortable room, very small for two people and noisy and seemed like an add on to the main house. Second night different room in main house. Very nice, spacious and comfortable. The hotel is not walking distance to any restaurants so it is inconvenient not to have dining in the hotel if you don't have a car and also the taxi fare from Gatwick airport (10 mins) is £25! Ridiculous.

A beautiful English estate. Great place to use as a base for day trips using your own transportation. The place itself is quiet and charming.

Stayed here night before catching a flight. This was perfect for what we needed. Nice room, tastefully decorated with small ensuite. There was a fan in the room if required. Thick heavy curtains which kept the light out. Being so close to the airport means bound to hear the planes but it didnt stop us sleeping atall.Comfortable, beautifully clean, lovely big bed & fresh white linen. Staff were very helpful. Although the hotel isn't currently doing evening meals theres a good chef & brewer just up the road where we had a nice meal. You can also order in takeaway & use the dining area if you wish (takeaway leaflets & list of resteraunts provided in the room). Had a full english breakfast at the hotel & there was also a range of cereals, juices, toast, croissants, yoghurt & fruit all included. We were able to park our car at the hotel for the duration of our holiday. Will definitely stay here again next time we fly from Gatwick

Near the airport, very nice bedroom with good choice of hot drinks and kettle.

The room was spotless and bed and linens were excellent for a wonderful night's sleep. Location is not recommended if you are on foot. Otherwise, taxi service is £20 for the 10 minute ride to/from Gatwick airport. I booked on Expedia wherein it indicated the hotel had a restaurant for which I could dine at. As a solo traveller on foot, I was specifically looking for just that for the evening stay. I sent an email to the property the day prior asking for confirmation as I was rechecking my booking and on another search I had made, it suggested there was not a restaurant. I never received a response which was disappointing. I arrived because my booking was non-refundable to find out that there used to have a restaurant, but due to changes they were making, there was not one presently. I would have appreciated an updated listing on Expedia as I wouldn't have made a booking without in house dining or at least a response from the property to the email I sent them. Otherwise, their folks they had working there when I arrived and departed were lovely.

Have stayed here before because it’s convenient for family. However, it is opposite the end of Gatwick runway, so be prepared for the early wake up call from Easy Jet! Nice little hotel, great breakfast too.
