The staff are, as always fantastic. The room brilliant. The view, gorgeous.

The room is just far too hot! There is no way to reduce the temperature from 19°C, which mid summer and menopause kicking in, its just too hot for me personally to be comfortable. I had to shower many times as was too hot. I understand that 19°C is meant to be the optimum temperature, but when paying for a highly rated hotel, we, as customers, should at least be able to control the room temperature to our own preferences. (At least have a plug in fan available for customers?)

"Mercure could be better"

The bed was comfy and the telly was huge.

The noise of the doors from the cleaners constantly closing is really annoying. They never close the doors gently. The pillows were like bricks. I had to change them. All the food at breakfast was cold. Hash browns and sausages are terrible quality. There was barely any fruit and one whole bowl of opened yogurt. No little pots of yogurt of different flavours. Rather disappointed.
