Bracken Hide Hotel

Very beautiful location, a bit out of village. It’s a whole experience sleeping in a separate cabin, that I enjoyed very much. The restaurant was very good!

The door handle of the bathroom door was broken.

The property is unique and the hides come with air conditioning. The views are spectacular and it is very quiet. They will take your luggage to your hide in a. Gold cart which was super helpful. The rooms were beautiful and the luggage fit under the bed easily to make more room. Shower had excellent pressure.

The WiFi was spotty in the hide. Some of the staff were wonderful- the guys that took the luggage were terrific. Some staff were not so friendly. We had terrible service one night at the bar when a staff member who apparently didn’t usually work the bar was there. Things seemed disjointed like not all staff was trained or they were short staffed.

The location and concept are great. The field is covered by small huts and it’s quite astonishing. It definitely provides a different vibe. The staff and restaurant quality were excellent.

I’m still trying to justify the price, comparing it to other hotels were we stayed in a similar price range. Maybe that if the rooms were a bit larger…

Great. modern stay on Skye. The pods are so well designed and comfortable, which was a really great surprise. Cannot recommend highly enough. Great location for launch pad for any Skye activities.

Long uphill walks to the pods in the morning.

Close enough to Portree to walk to and from. Cabin was larger than hotel rooms in Edinburgh and Inverness. Sitting on the porch and drinking coffee. Breakfast and Dinner were both excellent
