Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating.Breakfasts were good. Seaview room good. Public areas clean and tidy. Decorated a bit zany in places but OK.

Our room was in need of some attention to decor. Wallpaper ripped away from wall and skirting board loose and in need of paint. Brown stains in the bath . No mirror in dressing table area,would be nice to see what you are doing when drying hair. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom,a shelf would be a good idea, so our toiletries were on the floor. We stayed for a week,we asked after 4 days to have our room done. The bins were emptied and more UHT milk in room, plus a clean towel. We also think hotel is being used for care in the community,there was a problem with one of the guests.

Nice welcome by staff all very friendly. The Seaview room was a good size with hot water always available. Breakfast was excellent quality and well cooked. As we had a dog with us,our breakfast was in the bar area which was fine. Central location to the beach and town.

No shaving point in the bathroom

Ideally located for the theatre Fabulous views Comfy well stocked bar area Lots of choice at breakfast All staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming Very clean room and bathroom, freshly decorated Lovely private garden area across the road from the hotel overlooking the beach Tea and coffee making facilities in room Lift Bath with shower over in ensuite bathroom Free on site parking Great value for money Would happily book again if in the area

Building works and scaffolding in the back garden detracted from that area of the hotel but I'm sure that's only temporary Bed was a bit hard for me but that's my personal preference, the rest of the party who were in other rooms said they were very comfortable
