The reception staff were polite and helpful

We had booked a room with twin beds. After first night my wife woke up and complained about bed bugs and that she had itching all over her body. We called the reception manager who was helpful and regretted that she could not move us to another room as they were fully booked but she brought fresh sheets to change. There was another issue where we could not alter the room temperature as the display was flashing with error. The lady reaction manager tried adjusting but to no avail. She called a guy who went to the maintenance room downstairs and said he had adjusted the temperature but the issue still persisted and reception lady said she will put it in her report.

Location is fab (if you get a seaview room) Bed was comfy

Booked and paid for a seaview room for 4 nights in Sept 25. 3 weeks before our stay, we were rang to be told our room was being downgraded as they had overbooked. We only booked here for the view and by this time everywhere else was booked as it was airshow weekend. After much tooing and froing, we agreed on a monetary refund on arrival. We arrived....the hotel denied that this had been agreed. After more discussions, we eventually got the refund (in my bank after we had got back home) No iron or ironing board in the room (as stated), no plug sockets near the mirror, drain in shower clogged with hair, so the bathroom floor was constantly wet, parts of the room were very dusty. 3 pillows on the bed....for 2 people! 1 chair...for 2 people! Not enough staff behind the bar (airshow weekend), also put in a room right in front of the lifts so you could hear the lift bell constantly. Won't be back

Carpet was bubbled and worn in places, only one chair in room and there was 2 of us. No proper spoons just wooden stirrers like you get from greggs not ideal for tea bags. Had to use water from bathroom sink to fill kettle something I genuinely think is awful,
