We’ve stayed a few times and we love it here. Friendly staff and a beautiful location.

Friendly staff Good price Excellent breakfast On site Mark Poynton restaurant exceptional. Plenty of parking

Limited choice of drinks. No draft. Lack of bar snacks or pre meal offerings. Gardens rather run down.

The setting and the few members of staff we did see were friendly and helpful.

The property needs quite a bit of work and our room wasn’t clean. The breakfast was also poor.

Lovely house and very friendly staff. Amazing food at the Mark Poynton restaurant which was the purpose of our stay.

Heating in the bedroom/bathroom however the small electric heater was very efficient so much so that we will buy one for ourselves.

all perfect - food excellent, location great - room nice but somewhat ugly view!

Setting and location

Went for romantic evening, restaurant was not available so had to drive and find food, my partner nearly got scolded whilst showering, it went very cold or very hot. It was our first night away and wanted a romantic evening with fine dining and drinks but could not and was not mention on site whilst booking or would have stayed elsewhere

The staff are all great. Very helpful.

The tasting menu good

No bath Hotel was empty but i was given a room with a terrible view After we had finished our dinner we wanted to sit by the fire but he had gone out by 9.30 and was very cold
