Possibly the best airport hotel we’ve stayed at. Quiet, comfortable and a fabulous swimming pool. The restaurant is expensive but a quick 10 minute walk down the road, the other side of the roundabout and there’s a choice of local restaurants.

A mini fridge would work perfectly . Maybe no music at the pool .

The location by KLIA is very handy, and for an airport hotel, it doesn’t have that feel about it, given how chic the bar and pool area feel, with ambient music playing in the background paused only for live music coming from within the bar. The room was clean and facilities within were more than adequate for a night-stop. The complimentary shuttle bus from the hotel worked very well.

In contrast, the complimentary shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel didn’t work at all and I used a Grab to get to the hotel, even though I believed I was in the right place (and I turned out to be right about that), the hotel do not stipulate a timetable for that direction and you can’t book a spot on the bus, unlike the direction from the hotel to the airport. This one-way issue needs worked on so that it works just as well in both directions. A security deposit was also authorised against my payment card, which is not unusual, and the front desk manager who checked me in just said I could charge anything back to the room and it would just be deducted from the security deposit, which is also fair enough and sounded good however, she didn’t mention that if I did that (which I did) that they add on a charge. I don’t like surprise charges on a bill, I like transparency, so that left a sour taste in my mouth after ordering drinks at the bar.

Free shuttle bus to the airport - runs each hour. Proximity to the airport. Room was clean, and bed was comfortable. Room was a good size and included a sofa. Curtains were good to block out light. Tea and coffee packs in the room with a kettle and water. We saw a clean, big pool and there was a restaurant on site, both positive points, but we arrived too late and had to leave too early to make good use of these.

Pillows were too high which is not good for one's neck. Noise! We heard from about 4:00 a.m. in the morning the luggage cart rolling in the hall. Yes, people may be leaving, but better to hand carry or roll bags versus the big cart making a racket down the hall. Our room was by the door and that slammed each time people went out. This is something the hotel needs to work on as people need a good night's sleep which is why one stays at the hotel versus hanging out at the airport.
