AEThe location was good and there was a great hiking trail close by. The room was clean.
- The shower was dangerous - changing from scolding hot water to cold water constantly. It was very difficult to shower. -There should have been more welcome amenities in the room - water and milk in particular. -Wifi did not work in the rooms and staff were not helpful recommending places to eat. -Better communication from management would have been helpful - where to leave the key etc. as the pub was closed in the morning when we left. -We strongly felt this property was overpriced.
GBThe dinner we had there was amazing - The Spicy Sweet Potato Curry vegan - fantastic! The paintings on the walls of The Pig Sty and The Cow Shed rooms - were very cool.
The wifi was non existent - and no phone reception - which as a single parent was a complete nightmare. I also have to work remotely, and so the lack of wifi available was unacceptable. I was told the manager would come to my room and help me, they never turned up. I was so distressed not being able to get a hold of my child.

GBStaff fantastic, room superb. We were visiting the area as we will be hopefully moving to the village later this year, and our stay has just confirmed that we are making the right choice! Locals are welcoming too. Food is outstanding, even on a busy night. Thanks for the stay 10 out of 10!

There was no breakfast available - and no advance warning that this would be the case. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. There were no staff around in the morning. The room was described as ‘deluxe’ when it was not. Expensive for what it was.
