Kabannas Liverpool

This is a hotel in the middle of many night clubs. The music is very loud and they stay loud until about 4 in the morning. The hotel gives you ear plugs but they don’t work.

I will not blame the hotel for its location. Not their fault. Very central indeed. Right in the middle of Mathew St., which... unfortunately is close to Armageddon on a Saturday night. Surrounded by pubs, bars and lunatic asylums - all filled with screaming and hearing impaired individuals, and with the music volume cranked to a level way beyond Spinal Tap. Our hotel room on the first floor was so close to the Mayhem, that if I should fall out the window I would literally land in one of the pubs. The noise from the pubs and the people went on ALL night. It stopped at about 5:30 in the morning and then the garbage trucks immediately took over. "Why didn't you close the windows then?" You might ask. We did. But up came another issue: There was no air condition installed in the room, and after 5 minutes we could hardly breathe, because we had 30 degrees Celsius and no Oxygen. 🤥 So... My point is: If you are planning to sleep in your room on a Saturday night, then this is not the place for you. You cannot throw a party in your room either. There is no space for more than two persons. The room is so small that it is best used for storing your suitcase while you find yourself another place to sleep. 😂 Last issue was the missing cold water in the morning. Had to cancel my shower, because the water was boiling hot. Don't think that is normal for the place, though. Oh, I almost forgot! The check-in procedure is a fancy pantsy online app circus. No humans involved. And the FAQ is useless if you seek information about anything else than add-ons or happy hour. So the one star in this review goes to the fact that the hotel provided us with two sets of earplugs which we found in the room. They didn't do us any good - but they were there.

Brill location but the rest of the hotel was absolutely shocking! We turned up and wouldn’t let us check in even though we had an email saying we could!! To then go to the bar and the staff be absolutely horrible, rude and ignorant!!! We got given the wrong room which was totally different to the pictures online!! We had no window, no air con and the room was dark as the lights were dull and probably not been changed for years.We had to leave our door open for some kind of breeze as our room was too hot to even just sit in, me and my friend were so disappointed as we went for her birthday and as a result of all of this we ended up changing hotels!!! it was absolutely shocking worse hotel i’ve ever been too!!!! wouldn’t recommend one bit.

I do not had good experience. No window in room. No refund policy, as they know their room service.Oxygen level low. I will never book this hotel again.

Excellent location right in the centre of Mathew Street. Rooms can get stuffy as window was unable to be opened and also the air conditioning didn't work. Also can get very loud at night due to the area.

Great location We loved the location but the amenities in the room were not the best and was dusty and not as clean as it could’ve been staff were nice when we spoke to them. No storage or hanging space for clothes. Nothing next to the bed each side but did have electric points next to the bed. The full length mirror was difficult at the side of the bed and no room to get hair etc done Used bathroom for make up That had a mirror Struggled with finding staff at bar and reception area We got fed up and went out for drinks instead of using their bar. We will stay again as we loved the location for nightlife
