Kabannas Liverpool

I booked for two nights had one look at room and it was dirty ,and very noisy and i just had a bad vibe about the place.it was the 1st time i walked out on a place i booked.i booked another hotel and was much happier.

Budget accommodation, right in the centre. Great staff, great pizza and a modern hostel. This is the place to stay if you don't mind sharing a dorm with strangers. It has everything you could need for a party weekend in the best city in the world.

We LOVED our stay at Kabannas. We booked specifically with them knowing they were in the middle of everything we wanted to see - pubs, clubs and restaurants. We could walk everywhere late into to night with no safety concerns at all. I did pre check in which made the process way smoother - a few people trying to self check in at the hotel were having problems. We got our room straight up, no issues, headed down and had great drinks at great prices served by friendly and helpful staff. It’s in a noisy street but we loved the vibe. Honestly, people who book here and then complain about the noise are just tosspots. We got back from partying at the Cavern Club at 2am - no access issues at all. We slept in on our comfy bed and then the helpful staff held breakfast open for us a little longer so we could eat (VERY much appreciated when one has a banging hangover 😂). Would we stay again? Hell yeah - in fact we can’t wait!!

What a gem of a find . We are just leaving today after staying in room 307. Excellent location right in the heart of Matthew street . Despite the location the room was really quiet , we didn’t hear a thing all night . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful . The Kabanna will definitely be our choice for future stays in Liverpool , in fact we will be checking in at Kabanna hotels in other locations too .

Excellent location, good value

Where do I start! Check-in was so stressful that everything was done virtually. We tried our phones, the tablet in a lobby, nothing would go through to get a digital room key. Lots of other people are having issues with getting a digital room key. There was an orderly queue at thy bar for assistance. You have to go to the bar and get assistance with any issue, which is the other side of the lobby. To get to this lobby, your first unpleasant experience is the smell of the toilets. We got to our room, very basic, no tea/coffee making facilities. The toilet and shower were separate. We were given two bath towels, no hand towels, and no bath mat. I forgot to mention that the light in the shower room turns off mid way through your shower. You have to open the shower door to reactivate the light. I couldn't wash my hair as the shower hose had a split in it. By the time the water got to the shower head, it was a trickle. Don't keep the cold water running when brushing your teeth as the sink fills with water. Our room number was checked for the included breakfast, which consisted of Tesco natural yoghurt, tinned fruit cocktail, two choices of cereal, and a couple of slices of dried out bread Coffee was a machine of multiple choices. I couldn't see a tea bag in sight. The posters all around the hotel stating unlimited breakfast showing an English cooked breakfast is a lie. Don't blink as you will miss breakfast completely. If only I could put disgusting smells into a review. The noise from Mathew Street was not too bad. The only thing this awful place has going for it is the location. Victoria car park nearby, smells and looks cleaner than the hotel itself.

Very small room and shower for £295 a night, hotel was very dusty, the food was awful and overcooked and expensive with no customer service skills havin to ask for cutlery and napkins. Never again if it was for free
