Beautiful suite, with excellent facilities.

Others may be familiar with staffless hotels and digital check-in, but it was a first for me. Anyone elderly or with motor impairment may struggle with the screen and key issuing machine. Also, nobody to help with large luggage.

The location was good, central to everything and free parking was excellent.

The sensor light on the first landing was quite delayed in turning on, proving to be a hazard in the dark, when returning home or accessing your car at night.

Lovely location. Great communication should you need anything. Really stunning house.

There are a few bits that need tending to, namely the blinds in the rooms. I’ve stayed a couple of times so far, and both rooms the blinds have been broken which is a bit disappointing.

The hotel is close to the city centre as well as the park and historic Abbey. It’s off the main road so very quiet. Simple furnishings but comfortable.

I would have liked a desk and a fridge.
