"Beautiful surroundings, in a beautiful building. I am so happy this property is know longer empty."

The room was beautifully decorated and really comfortable.

The lack of staff on the front desk made it confusing to know whether I was entitled to breakfast and also where to leave my keycard in the morning.

"Lovely hotel in a great location"

The location is great, and the building and rooms are beautifully decorated. We didn't see any staff, but they were very helpful when I called (at 11pm!) and sorted my issue quickly.

I do wish there was more shelf space in the bathroom - there was not enough space for my toiletries.

Second stay here the location is excellent close to the theatre

The temperature on the thermostat is set so high it's like an oven inside. No changes to the thermostat seem to have any effect and I had to manually adjust the radiator and have the window open for an hour. The door to the corridor outside the room needs the hinges oiling as it is just outside the room and very squeaky. The door to the room needs adjusting as the key card works to unlock it but the handle will not turn unless you pull the door closed first, then turn, then push to open.

Lack of breakfast. Desk guy was a bit clipped acted like he wasn’t interested in a question
