The Royal Bar & Shaker

Staff were super friendly. Food was excellent. Room was lovely & clean. Location on beach front was perfect, right by Eric Morecambe statue.

Bed was far too hard, but literally our only complaint.

The location of the property was great, right next to the beach. The property itself, including the room,was extremely clean and tidy, beyond our expectations. The staff were very nice, friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was great. Good portion size, hot and tasty. Absolutely recommend this property.

Located right in the middle of everything, close to all the pubs and restaurants and a stones throw from the beach. Great pub and great staff. There were bands playing both nights we were there but it was good music and was done by around 11 or 11.30 so the noise wasn't a problem. If you want to eat at their restaurant - it needs to be early though because the pub gets very busy

It is being picky because we are not their target market I guess, but we spent the days hiking and were only getting in after 8 by which time the party is in full swing in the pub so you have to lug all your camera equipment and hiking gear through and between the pub clients and past the band up the stairs. (saying that - both nights they had great bands on!)
