The Royal Bar & Shaker

The location was in the heart of Morecambe. The breakfast was nice and the sausages were awesome. . The cleaning girls were very friendly and did an amazing job of keeping the room spotless. Car parking is available but very limited spaces and comes with a charge.

Stairs - no lift Rear entrance after 11pm Front facing staff a little stand offish The room itself didn't quite match the pictures on booking.com Totally unsuitable for anyone with any type of disability.

Beautiful room and gorgeous view from room 2 very big room and comfy bed . Breakfast was amazing too which was included in price ,there was a good choice on the menu and could pay extra £2 for big breakfast .

Check out time 10am was the only negative

The bed, the view and the breakfast were all brilliant.

Make sure you communicate with staff about the parking as you can get blocked in if you don't. If you do then it's fine.

Location central to the beach and the Morecambe Bay parkrun Sat am- the reason for our booking the Friday night. Excellent breakfast of a smoothie bowl each. Bay window bedroom, with views across Morecambe Bay towards the fells. Hot water in shower, warm room. Flexible checkout although £10 extra per hour. However…… we have given this pub/hotel a low score as even though we communicated prior to our check-in time of 2pm at NO point were we informed that a noisy 18th Birthday party with loud music would be held from 7-12mn on the evening of our stay. Even when we walked back into the establishment at 6pm, from a walk along the promenade, no staff gave us any information. This meant we had no opportunity to find an alternative accommodation. After breakfast, the deputy manager gave an apology with an explanation that their establishment caters for guests and parties up to 12 midnight. We were refunded £20 which was the cost of a later checkout of 2hrs post parkrun.

Noise from party downstairs in bar area, and that our bedroom (room 2) was above the bar and adjacent to the women’s toilets.

The cleanliness was good!

Bright light outside the window which lit up the room for the entire night.

Lot of choice but food too greasy not recommended
