The place was clean, neat and in good order.

I booked a family room specifically because it was advertised as comprising a double bed in addition to single beds. This arrangement was important for our stay, as my son is 195 cm tall and of a large build. The intention was for him to sleep on the double bed while I used one of the single beds. Upon arrival, however, we were allocated a double room rather than the family room that had been booked. The room was subsequently converted into a twin room by separating the beds, but this did not provide the accommodation we had reserved and paid for. As a result, my son was unable to sleep comfortably on the single bed and spent most of the night awake. I am therefore concerned that a family room was offered during the booking process and advertised as available if the hotel was ultimately unable to provide that room type. The room configuration was a key factor in our decision to book, and had we been informed in advance that a family room was unavailable, we would have made alternative arrangements. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the booked room type could not be honoured, and I trust you will consider an appropriate remedy in light of the inconvenience and disruption caused to our stay.
