Exactly what it says in the tin. We stayed on room 801 with private pool and it was perfect. The restaurant staff very welcoming and attentive, all communial areas including the swimming pool spotless.... Clean and tidy with plenty sun lounges. Room spacious and the private pool made the difference to chill out with a glass of favourite drink.... We hired a bike and the hotel is 8 minutes from Fira, a must see.... Is a 4 * if you are looking for 5* then pay 5* prices....

Fantastic views and very friendly staff. Pool was cold but also lovely.

Rooms need a big facelift and things to be fixed. We had a shower with a broken screen so the bathroom flooded anytime we showered and a bathroom door that didn’t close. Bed was very hard and not comfortable.

Not up to Par

The outside area was great, lovely private swimming pool, sunbeds and dining area (the latter not clean). This is where the luxury stops, the rest was clean but very basic. The service in the main pool area restaurant was very polite and helpful, but the person was on his own and stretched in his duties.

We had the largest 2-bedroom apartment in the hotel according to the concierge but the living area was tiny and the single bathroom was not enough for 3 or 4 people. For a 4-star hotel was disappointing to see the very tired looking bathroom with very old looking reusable bottles of soap, shampoo and shower gel. The tap water was not for drinking but we had 2 small bottles of water in the fridge for 3 people. No water to brush your teeth or for tea and coffee. There is no issue with buying water but again for a 4-star hotel, the expectation is different if the water is not good for consumption. Most of the bedside lights were not working. It was very disappointing that the hotel does not provide takeaway breakfast for guests who have to catch early flights (ours was changed by the airline otherwise we would have not considered paying for breakfast. We asked the receptionist if they could pack some breakfast in the form of any pastry such as a croissant or similar, a piece of fruit, maybe a bottle of juice, or water, but we were told this was not possible. This is in great contrast with other very helpful hotels on the same island that automatically offer to prepare takeaway bags. On the following morning, the person on duty was extremely polite and trying to be helpful and had prepared plates with some cold continental breakfast. Needless to say, very few people will sit down to eat breakfast at 5 am before heading to the airport. Nevertheless, we are very grateful for this gesture to the gentleman in question.

I am sorry to say, this hotel was terrible. We were there in October 2023. I know it's late to leave a review, but I thought my husband had left the review when we got back from our holiday. My husband and I paid a lot of money to stay here on B&B status. From the outside, it doesn't look very welcoming, however, inside it was fine in the reception area. We arrived late at night 22.45pm, and were shown to our room. It was classed as deluxe double with a balcony. This couldn't be further from the truth. The room was a decent size with an extra part that had a bed settee in it and a long dressing type table/bench in that room and you got to the balcony from that room. The balcony was roomy and had a table and small rattan settee. The balcony did not get any sun at all and was at the side of the building and was just windy and cold all of the time. We rarely sat out on it. Getting back to the room, we noticed it was clean-ish but was not cared for at all. The shower cubicle was a shower curtain and the shower head was so high up, it was ridiculous. After every shower, the bathroom was soaked. The wardrobe was fine, however, the first thing we noticed was it did not have any clothes hangers in at all. Luckily I had brought a few of my own, but they were not enough for both mine and my husbands clothes. We mentioned this at reception the next day and they said that they had a wedding at the weekend. I assumed from this that there were taken by the previous occupants of the room. For the whole holiday, we did not receive any hangers at all. The next thing was towels. Because our bathroom got soaked, we had to have our towels changed every day as we need to mop up the water as it was dangerous to be left like that. Just about every day, we had to go to reception to tell them the that our room had not been cleaned and new towels had not been provided. This was frustrating for us, especially when we had been out all day and we were getting back late in the afternoon and the room had still not been cleaned. Honestly it was shocking. It got to the point where we felt we were just complaining every day for something or other. The room needs completely refurbished and most definitely it is not a deluxe room. The pool area was very nice and the staff there were absolutely lovely. The same staff were on breakfast rota and were really helpful no matter what you asked. The breakfast was lovely too. Good choice of the usual cereals, meets, pastries etc. The reception staff were nice but really could have been more helpful especially with all of the problems we had. Now to Pyrgos itself. It was easy to walk from the hotel into Pyrgos which is quite nice. There is a restaurant on the walk down which is called Pyrgos restaurant and we ate there twice and loved it. It did get chilly but they provide blankets so it wasn't a problem. In Pyrgos we found getting a bus to Fira no problem, although you do have to pay at the end of the journey and not the start. Make sure you have the right change if you can. There are quite a few restaurants on the walk to Pyrgos from the hotel and in the centre too which all served pretty much the same food and all of it was nice. We also visited a few other places but I cannot remember the names of them. There is a supermarket not far which is where we bought wine and snacks. All reasonable priced. The supermarket was to the left as you left the hotel and down the path to a garage. You walk through the garage forecourt to the other end and the supermarket is across the road from there. Also, on the day that we left, our flight home was a late flight and we had to vacate our room. I can't remember the time we had to leave but we went to reception and asked if we could keep it until we had to go to the airport. They said yes but it was a fee of €60, which we refused to pay. We expected after all of the problems we had that they could at least let us have it for free. She then asked the manager and he said €30. We again said we would not pay it. They said they would provide a room for us to shower in later in the day and that we could leave our luggage in the room by reception, which is what we did. When we went to get our last shower before leaving, the room they let us use was called a garden room. It was absolutely lovely and so much nicer than the room we had stayed in. The shower, the size of the room was huge. To finish, I am leaving a 2 star review and that is only for the pool/breakfast staff who we thought were the best part of the holiday. Other than that, we will not return to this hotel.

Très bel hôtel avec une piscine fantastique. La chambre pour 4 était spacieuse et bien équipée avec vue mer. Le couchage dans le canapé convertible pourrait être plus confortable. Nous avons dîné et pris le petit déjeuner au restaurant de l’hôtel, où nous avons bien mangé. L’équipe était très accueillante.
