The staff was extremely helpful (booked us tour and van to Port Barton), the pool was nice, and room was very good.

The pool and the larger room was fantastic. It was very calm and relaxing. Unfortunately, it takes a while to get into town, so best to rent a scooter if you can. Also, the breakfast was lovely but no restaurant, so you have to venture out to get food/dinner which can be difficult if you don't drive. The staff were lovely and accommodating.

It is - of course - not a 5-star hotel. With that in mind, I would say the value for money is very good. There's a swimming pool that's clean, especially compared to other hotels in Puerto Princesa (we've stayed at several hotels here in town in the past). The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was closed at the time of our visit (except for breakfast). But Baker's Hill (one of the highlights in Puerto Princesa) is within walking distance. Definitely worth visiting. Not just because of the dining options. There's also a park and breathtaking views of the countryside and the sea. The room is functional, the bathroom spacious, with a hot shower (once you figure out how the heater works :-). The TV doesn't work, but the internet is OK. The aircon works well and there are several sockets, for example to charge a mobile phone. I don't want to rate the following as either positive or negative: The rooms are located directly in front of the pool. And there may be drinking and smoking going on by the pool, even at night. I can't say it bothered us, but it's perhaps worth mentioning. Another potential issue could be that the hotel is a bit far from the center of Puerto Princesa. But if that doesn't matter to you, you can ignore it. And of course, there are tricycles and multicabs available. So you're not "cut off from the rest of the world." It didn't matter to us though, since we arrived in our own car (the parking lot is spacious, by the way). And the remote location also has its advantages. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. We were very satisfied and would stay here again anytime.

The pool is well-maintained and cl ean, providing a nice place to relax. The Filipino breakfast was delicious, adding an authentic touch to the experience. Additionally, the room’s air conditioning worked well, keeping the space cool and comfortable.

The blanket provided was quite thin, which may not be ideal for those who prefer a warmer sleep. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it is conveniently close to popular attractions like Baker’s Hill, Mitra’s Ranch, and the port. Lastly, the shower did not have hot water, which might be a drawback for some guests. l
