The Hotel is located in a central atmospheric area of the ancient Old Town of Rhodes. Although we didn't meet the hotel owner he phoned and messaged us on a number of occassions and we were presented with a gift on our arrival. The room was comfortable and clean. Quality bed linen and a comfortable mattress ensured a good nights sleep.

Vehicle transport is not permitted in the area of the Old Town where we were staying and it was extremely difficult to get to the hotel with luggage over the cobbled streets. It would have been helpful if we had been informed of this, particularly as we are in our advanced years and had been travelling for over 12 hours. We booked the room for two, my husband and myself, and although tea and coffee facilities were available but only for one person, milk was also missing. There were no staff available to help.

Carmen Hotel did not supply breakfast (though you said it did and you also stated that the owner would pick us up from the airport)! We cannot find words enough to describe the hotel. It was so fantastic! So amazing! The best hotel we ever stayed in! PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! The owner - Apostolos, was so kind, so friendly and kept asking us if there was anything we needed. We would recommend this hotel to any friend of ours, who respects a five star hotel with beautiful decor. Our bedroom had everything we needed and the owner was truly 'a one-off owner' - so-so kind!

Very central in old town

Nothing it was fabulous

A beautiful small hotel in the centre of the old town. As it was low season, I had the whole place to myself! But the owner wentt out of his way to make me feel welcome; he was kind, friendly and generous.

Great central location in the old town, but on a quiet street. The decoration was very personal, and the host was very nice and helpful with a couple of great tips for where to eat. The room was small but comfortable and clean.

There were no staff at the hotel, so it wasn't really a hotel. E.g there was a bar but it was closed because there were no staff there.
