Carmen Art Hotel

Very quirky, lots of interesting artistic decor in a nice, quiet location tucked not too far away from the main tourist streets in Rhodes Old Town.

A little bit quiet - I didn’t actually meet anyone else or the owner at the Hotel. Having said that, Apostolos - the owner, was fantastically attentive to any needs when I got in touch with him.

Lovely property and great location.

We found the property to be dark and despite all the memorabilia around it felt like it had lost its soul. There was a lovely bar that we never sat in as it was never open. When we mentioned it to the owner he said he didn’t open it as his guests preferred it to be quiet and relaxed. He said he opened it in the winter for his theatre friends and had wonderful parties. We do not like loud places but we found this just too quiet and uninviting. The owner was lovely but we felt he only did what he had to do and had little interest in his guests. I am sure that once upon a time this was everything we thought it would be but it seems to have lost its way. Sadly we will not return but if you want complete quiet with no person contact this is the place for you.

Fantastic location. Comfortable bed and good bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Lovely gift of a bottle of wine. Very friendly owner who called to make sure everything was okay.

The room was quite small for two people, a bit of a squeeze!

What a lovely and intimate hotel. The location is perfect, the building and the room are really cozy and pleasant. It's located right at the center of the magnificent old town, yet in a very quiet street.

Located in an ancient narrow alley in Rhodes old city. Very atmospheric, inside is querky and tastefully decorated. The room, while small had a comfy bed in a romantic alcove. The owner, Apostolas, is a charming, friendly person who went out of his way to ensure we had a trouble free and comfortable stay, despite it being just for one night. This was our second stay here, enroute to a fortnight on Symi and as before, it surpassed expectations.

We liked it all, nothing negative to say.
