Henann Premier Coast Resort

Location is good

The hotel needs serious uplift to be considered as 5 star. Very inexperienced staff who although polite and friendly are not capable to deal with simple requests. Very low quality of services for such a hotel. food was below average, as well as the breakfast. Room was smelling bad and the AC was leaking. Had to move to another room. Beach that you can’t really swim (depending on the tide). Wanted to order a beer in the night and was told that room service doesn’t operate after 21:00 and that if I wanted to get a drink I had to walk to the city. Not going back in this hotel as my experience was disappointing

We had a wonderful stay at Henann Primier Resort. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The resort was clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable and relaxing.The location is excellent, situated right in front of the beach, providing beautiful views and easy access to the water. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast buffet, which offered a delicious variety of food every morning. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Henann Prime Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Very well thought through design. Everything was very convenient, service was attentive and friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean and kept in good condition with comfy beds. The property seemed more quiet than the Hennan next door, which suite us perfectly as we prefer chilled vibe over buzz, especially by the pool and the beach. The location is close to everything you may need - 10 min ride from the airport, 5-7minutes to the high street and restaurants. Beautiful beach right at the doorstep with plenty fish to see if you like snorkeling and it's safely marked by lane line. The food was really good, from breakfast to a'la carte, which we had few times for dinner. The prices are also comparable to other restaurants by the beach, but the food is of the better quality.

Two small suggestion we have would be to have some foot shower by the beach entrance and some additional industrial fan in the gym as the AC didn't seem to be enough.

Staff and location

On the first night after a full day of travel there was a bad smell in the bed, house keeping changed the sheets etc but the smell remained. Changed rooms the following day.

Couldn’t fault the stay at all. Nothing was too much trouble, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Food was lovely, room was clean and perfect for our stay. We had celebrated our anniversary and they had decorated the bed for us. The pools have the most amazing views and you walk out onto the beach with plenty of sun beds available. The location is perfect, just a short stroll down the beach to plenty of restaurants which loops round to a a street full of shops/restaurants. Lots of guides around these places to book tours with too once you arrive in Panglao.

Great location with direct access to a nice and calm part of Alona Beach. Plenty of sun chairs. Quiet but central location in town.

Hennan seems to be very inflexible. Example: I requested late checkout, but they couldn’t confirm until the last day, despite the hotel not being full. Also airport transfer is 2pax minimum pay. I could understand if you’re the only one in the van, but not if it’s already half full. Anyways a Grab is less than half the price, but it’s the principle. Service was lazy. Spent a couple of days at the rooftop pool deck. Plenty of staff, but they didn’t make rounds for orders, I had to go to the bar to order just a coffee or whatever. However, there was a guy blasting music from his cell phone for everyone to ‘enjoy’,and the towel guy quickly stopped that. Food was underwhelming: very limited options for low-carb eaters and the pasta I ordered one day was swimming in oil. Finally, there was a lot of noise from the hallway in the morning from what I assume was housekeeping. It woke me up both days even if I sleep with earplugs.

The roof amenities didn’t open up earlier. I would have loved to take my breakfast and morning coffee there. Live the sunrise and I think this would have been delightful
