La Fuga Siargao

Its a great place to stay and good location with cafes and resturants walking distance. The staff was so friendly and helpful to me. They reccommended tours with booking and made my stay easier, i had a good time at Lafuga. The place is clean too

It would be great if the resturant at the lodge had more options for breakfast and coffee , but overall i had a good stay

Our stay in La Fuga is one of the best stays of our life. We travel often and this is actually the first time we experienced this kind of service. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean. Cleaning service is daily and towel changed every other day. The position is great. 7 minutes by scooter to General Luna, close enough to have lots of green and a peaceful stay. The receptionist and his helper, our kuyas, are always there to help. We asked for scooter rentals, jeep rental, island hopping excursions and airport transfers, everything all arranged by them even the day before. They always do their best and put a lot of effort for you to have a smooth stay. They have created a Whatsapp conversation for our group so they be easily reacheble and work as a concierge service (which makes a HUGE difference vs the other hotels in siargao). We will go back and reccomend this place to all our friends going to siargao !

WARNING. Be careful. This hotel is run by thieves. I stayed at this hotel last week through Booking.com. On the first evening, after having dinner in General Luna, I came back to find that all my cash, iPhone, sunglasses, electronics, and any valuables that could be resold were stolen. The thieves even opened every pocket of every bag and even checked inside my pill container. I immediately reported it to the manager, but he simply claimed, “I was robbed too,” and refused to take any responsibility. I called the police and asked to see the CCTV footage — and guess what? All the cameras had been conveniently turned off. To make things even more ridiculous, they had scattered their own wallets on the floor, clearly trying to make it look like they were victims too. This was both laughable and insulting. This disgraceful act tarnishes the image of both Siargao and the Philippines. Also, isn’t it strange that none of the expensive items belonging to the hotel — like the Marshall speaker — were stolen? If this were really an outside job, wouldn’t the thief have taken everything of value? Why is it that only my belongings were taken? Why were only my valuables and cash targeted? And most importantly, why did the manager turn off all the security cameras after I left the hotel?? The owner of this property lives in Sweden and seems completely unaware of the seriousness of this situation. Do NOT stay at this hotel. The risk of theft is extremely high.

The staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely small hotel, clean, staff friendly. It advertised that breakfast is included but there was no breakfast and kitchen was closed.

Quiet place, worth for money, easy access to everything. Reception can arrange hotel pick up too. Jessie also helps alot. Thank you so much

숙소의 서비스는 아주 좋았습니다. 직원분들이 시아르가오 여행에 필요한 대부분의 정보를 제공해주고, 숙소의 불편한 점을 즉시 해결해줍니다. 인턴 제시 친구의 도움을 많이 받았습니다. 그 친구는 아주 친절했습니다. 숙소는 청결하고 Cloud9과 가까워서 교통이 편했습니다. 또 한번 놀러오고 싶네요

La Fuga is aesthetically pleasing but lacks functionality. The bathroom smells like sewer and we didn’t have a functioning toilet during our whole stay. The workers didn’t offer to move us or compensate for inconvenience. Instead, they made us use the public toilet on property. The cafe was also close during our stay. Workers were nice only in the beginning trying to get us to book tours etc. but just ignored us after. They were also not consistent with tour and scooter rental prices. They will try to nickel-and-dime you.
