The property is super unique so it was cool to stay in. The beds were super comfy too, one of the best nights sleep i’ve had in a long time. The thing I loved most about the property was how attentive and friendly the staff were. We were unfamiliar with the area and how to get around but Steve and family were extremely responsive and helpful. I often dropped them a message on WhatsApp for help booking travel and they offered lots of tips before we’d even arrived. I’d recommend booking Flextur’s (kind of a like a shared taxi) as a cost effective and easy way of transport if you’re booking 4 hours in advance.

The owner was very nice and friendly. Property also provides the option for ordering breakfast, which was very tasty. There is also a separate room with table football and ping-pong table which was additional attraction for the children.

Such a warm welcome. Great facilities for family with swing, trampoline, games room and kitchen to prepare food. Only 10mins from airport and 15mins from Lalandia/Legoland by car so super easy. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Everything from the beginning til the end was very smooth. We stayed with family, had property to ourselves (3 rooms). Great location, clean, comfy, huge garden for kids to run around. We visited Legoland (10min drive) and Givskud Zoo (20min drive).

Amazing hospitality. STAY Billund was ready to help with any question. The place is quite. My son loved trampoline, table football and tennis. We were on low season and the only guests staying - so the shared bathroom wasn't a problem. Planes are not too loud to disturb.

The cottage is a very well maintained estate. Rooms and common areas are clean and neat. Bedrooms are roomy, with adequate closets and nice windows. Heating works quickly and efficiently. Bathrooms look recently refurbished with floor heating. Kitchen and play room are in a separate building across the main house. Play room is interesting and well equipped with fun games. There is also a trampoline in the garden and a flat, circle swing hanging from a tree that kids loved. Different sitting areas where one can and enjoy the beautiful garden on a nice day. The Estate is right next to an archeological sight of ruins of a medival church, quite mystical and beautiful. Very close to Billund.

The only draw backs were that the owners are a door apart from all common areas, which is the entrance and living room of the main house they are partially renting you. There are doors only to the bathrooms and bedrooms that have a digital lock that you can set up. I have to say though that we never saw them after check in and they never bothered us. I have to assume that it might be the owners' preference to use detergents and toiletries that are scent free. So it was a bit awkward to lay in a bed that doesn't smell fresh, same goes for the towels. I hope at least they tamble dry sheets and towels for disinfecting purposes most importantly. We were provided with one bath towel and a single hand towel was hanging in each bathroom. The Kitchen has a strong meaty and blood like smell that was strong enough to keep us out of it. It is also not adequately equipped.

Breakfast is superb, and everything else was well organized. A good place to stay. The host made an effort to greet us during check-in, even though it was already close to midnight. We really appreciate it.

Very friendly owner, beautiful and atmospheric place. You can feel like at home. Very clean rooms. We recommend it to everyone, with or without children!
