STAY Billund

Before we arrived at STAY Billund, they were more than helpful, we had a lot of questions regarding the stay and the Billund area which where answered very quickly. When we arrived, it exceeded our expectations! From the time Steve picked us up from the airport, we felt very comfortable and were more than pleased with the standards. The property is not far the airport which is great for plane spotting (you can easily cycle to the airport runway and watch the many planes take off and land). In the main lounge there are a few board games that we enjoyed using, such as Connect 4 and Guess Who aswell as outdoor games (and outdoor blankets too for use on the porch). The house and surrounding area were beautiful and inside was very clean. The bike hire was a big positive and very reasonably priced, lots of places to ride and many nearby cycle routes (we had lots of fun). Taxi service very reasonable price and very available when needed. Breakfast was a great value for money, we were presented with fresh homemade bread with jam and butter, a variety of fruits aswell as fruit juice and different varities of coffee. Delicious!😋 We had an extra special breakfast for my daughter's 16th birthday, it went above our expectations with a homemade cake we even had it earlier than breakfast started as we had to leave for the airport early in the morning. Steve and his family were very welcoming and work very hard, they always work their hardest to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We will definitely be returning, Thank you.

What a beautiful place with great location - and so friendly and helpful hosts with perfect service! Could not ask for more :)

The accommodation was exactly as described, with 2 double beds, new furniture, excellent cleaning, quiet area surrounded by nature. Dorthe og Steve they were very helpful, we agreed on times for breakfast and also for the shuttle service. A couple of times we called them last minute to pick us up and they were immediately available . These are paid extra services but compared to the prices in and around Billund, they were really cheap, both for breakfast and for the shuttle . If you don't want to use the shuttle service, it is possible to rent bikes from Stay Billund with which you can move around in safety, as there are various cycle paths. Dorthe og Steve they gave us good advice on places to visit in the area, on how to use buses or trains to reach other cities besides Billund

Locations was amazing, ralx, nature and calm

The Farmhouse is in a lovely, green, location and very close to Billund. The little interaction I had with the owners they seemed very friendly. The property and rooms are accessed by a code which means security is top and you can come-and-go very privetly.

What was harder were the following: I realise upon ordering that there would be a common bathroom area, what I didn't know is that that meant one toilet and one shower, in the same room, between 2 family size rooms and a double. This meant queues in the morning could be long. The other thing is the noise. The room doors are internal house doors (i.e. very thin) so you'll hear any children or snoring from neighboring rooms - but the worst is that the house is located on the fly-in path to Billund airport. So on weekdays, from 6.30 until 00.30, there will be a plane thundering overhead every few hours.

Beautiful property, which is kept lovely and clean and has been very thoughtfully prepared (having blankets for outside, games for the kids, welcome information). My super later arrival time was no problem, as it was coded entry and all the information I needed had been provided days before arrival. The kitchette is very handy and well stocked equipment-wise - with a little job, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, alongside all tableware. The breakfast provided on site was very pleasant, being served; 2 fresh bread rolls, cheese, butter, jam, fruit juice, coffee, muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit. The hosts were great - present enough to be effective, but not too present to encroach on our stay. The host even taxied us to and from our day trips to help us out, which was really helpful.

Although the actual location was really lovely, very rural - both our taxis had trouble finding the place. The first taxi struggled, but finally got there. The second taxi thought it was successful, but left the recipient a 60min walk away, in the dark, with no capability of phoning a taxi!!!

Very clean rooms. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful family.

Noise of aeroplanes - but did get used to it.
