Riad Al Ibtikar

Het ontbijt werd met zorg geserveerd; er was een goede variatie. De locatie was uitstekend, de meeste bezienswaardigheden waren makkelijk te bereiken. Het is een kleine, intieme Riad met een bijzondere eigenaar, Steven, en heel attent personeel. De slaapkamer en badkamer waren aaltijd prima in orde. Alles werd voor ons gedaan om het ons zo prettig mogelijk te maken. Door het vele lopen, kwamen er enige problemen met de mobiliteit en Steven ging zo ver om een wandelstok te gaan kopen. Bovendien heeft hij ons deelgenoot gemaakt van Sakura Living en hebben we zijn atelier bezocht. Hier worden de fraaie lampen en andere ornamenten gemaakt. Zijn filosofische gesprekken zullen ons altijd bij blijven.

Niets . Het voldeed helemaal aan onze verwachtingen. Hoe laat we ook thuiskwamen, we werden altijd warm welkom geheten door Reda.

Reda and Kacem were wonderful hosts, we truly felt like guests in their home. The Riad is beautifully decorated and clean, rooms were spacious and comfortable with plenty of hot water in the shower. Bottled water was available in the rooms as well as toiletries and a perfectly working hairdryer. Breakfast was plentiful starting with fresh squeezed orange juice, a variety of breads, cheese, jam with fruits, vegetables and proteins changing daily. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, milk upon request.

I don't know that anything could have been any better, our stay was wonderful.

Location, staff and interior. Everything. Steven and the team they are extremely nice and helpful people. We really enjoyed stay in Al Ibtikar and conversations with Steven. Extraordinary.

We had a wonderful stay at this Riad and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff and the owner made us feel incredibly welcome. They were always attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, providing a perfect place to relax after a day out. The atmosphere throughout the Riad was warm and peaceful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, our entire stay at the Riad was excellent. The hospitality truly made the difference, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We hope to return again soon!

The whole team is amazing. Friendly and very welcoming. Its hard not to feal like you're at home 😁

The owner and staff were exceptional. They made my visit wonderful. The attention to detail was amazing and I fully intend to return to visit again. The other guests that stayed made my visit even better. They were from all over Europe and we enjoyed very stimulating conversations and games. Every night there was a fire in the fireplace and we gathered around talking and sharing. The breakfast was very nice. Staying in the middle of the Medina was interesting. Everything was really close and you could get something to eat about a 3 minute walk away. It was a different environment for an American, but I felt very safe and Google maps worked great to get around. I highly recommend this experience and hotel.

The Riad itself is stunning but the staff are really what made our stay exceptional. Thierry went above and beyond to make it perfect. The breakfast (and tea/cookies!) were fabulous and enjoying these out on the rooftop is highly recommended. Would happily stay here again and will recommend to friends staying in Marrakech!

Nos gustó todo. Las instalaciones son preciosas, el Riad es muy tranquilo, un refugio en el caos de Marrakech. Las habitaciones Preciosa, silenciosa y muy cómoda, la limpieza excepcional. La terraza estupenda para relajarse y todas las mañanas un desayuno maravilloso. Pero sobre todo quiero destacar la atención, la amabilidad y los cuidados de todo el personal. Te hacen sentir en casa y te cuidan hasta el mínimo detalle, nos ayudaron con todo lo que pedíamos y con lo que no pedíamos también. Abdel, Thierry y Steven, muchas gracias por estos días.
