Riad Al Ibtikar

My flight arrived after dark and my main concern was being dropped off at the edge of the Medina. I contacted Steven directly and he kindly arranged for a driver to meet me at the airport, drive me as far as the taxi could go, waiting for me there, was a man with handcart to take me and my luggage to the Riad. Steven and the staff were so pleasant and helpful. The location is fantastic, in a quiet alley, just about 50 metres from the hustle and bustle of the Medina shops. First morning I had booked a food tasting tour and Gerrie (probably mis-spelt) took me to the meeting point in the main square pointing out the landmarks I should lookout for on my return. Steven is Belgian and an extremely nice person, with excellent English. He was happy to sit, chat and help me understand some of the questions I had following my tours of the area. The best meal I had during my 2 weeks in Morocco was the Lamb Tagine I had in the Riad, it was delicious! I spent five delightful days at Riad Al Ibtikar and my sincere thanks to Steven and the staff.

I was not disappointed in any way

Everything about the property was wonderful. The room was superbly decorated and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive.
