Everything was great! Hospitality, the rooms, the proximity to the souks, everything! Can really recommend this riad!

Le riad est idéalement situé dans la Medina. Il est très bien aménagé avec goût, les chambres sont très spacieuses, très bien décorée et le niveau de propreté est excellent. Le calme qui y règne contraste fortement avec l'animation de Marrakech. Mais l'élément le plus marquant à souligner est la gentillesse de son personnel : Marouane, Asmaa, Mohamed sont tout simplement exceptionnels. D'une gentillesse incomparable, toujours à l'écoute avec de bons conseils. Nous n'avons pris qu'un seul repas qui était excellent également.

Very peaceful and tranquil. Wonderfully attentive staff , Marwen could not have neen more helpful. Super room , lovely breakfast and plunge pool great after lots of walking round the medina.

I liked all of it very much , no dislikes

The staff were exceptional. Don’t miss going back mid afternoon where you hear only the fountain, spa music and birds chirping. Heavenly. Rooms were clean and beautiful. Very elevated feel.

Location made both walking everywhere and arriving by taxi easy. Some smells in the alleyways and dusty dirty roads took some getting used to in Marrakech but the Riad itself was perfection!

Riad Contessa is ideally situated, not too far from a main road and drop off point. Didn't worry about getting lost. Breakfast was very good. Omelette / bread / cake / jams / honey / yoghurt / fresh orange juice. Different cake, bread and fruit every day. Served individually as you were seated. We had an early start one morning and were offered a smaller, early breakfast. All members of staff were very helpful and friendly. Riad has been tastefully upgraded with traditional decor and fittings. The roof terrace and plunge pool were great when it was hot, even hats were provided. Help was given taking cases to and from room. Definitely would recommend

Just a couple of points that might help other elderly guests (we're nearly 80) - shower floor very slippery & no hand rail on stairs. A sheet instead of a duvet might be nice (perhaps provided when it's very hot).
