Location. Well appointed room

The Palazzo is a different concept in residence: it is a “facility” rather than a conventional hotel/b&b site. The only staff are “housekeeping” and they are present from 08.00 to ca. 15.00. There is no Reception as such. Breakfast - a coffee and a roll - is provided at a local cafe. The preferred method of check-in is “online”. There is a code to allow access to the building. All this is OK if you know what to expect; if you don’t, it comes as a bit of a shock.

The room was clean and the sheets were clean, but very scratchy.

No one was ever around even when we had a problem with the sewer smell in the rooms. We were told via WhatsApp that other rooms were available and then when we got back to the hotel, we were told via WhatsApp that everything was booked. We asked that someone come to the hotel, but they refused. There was absolutely no service whatsoever. Breakfast was a joke. It was not on premises and all that was offered was a drink and a pastry. That should have been printed in the description of the hotel, not just saying breakfast included. Breakfast was terrible. The attitude of the 2 women who greeted us when we first arrived was and "I don't care" attitude. They didn't care if we were comfortable or not or if we had any problems. They took our money and left and we never saw them again. That is no way to run any kind of hotel or bead & breakfast. I intend to write a very bad review of this place and hope that no one ever stays there again. It was simply awful.

Great properly with lovely rooms. Lots of stairs to get to the hotel but very convenient location. They went out of their way to make our stay feel special. They responded quickly and answered all our questions on what’s app. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very helpfull client Service! Room was small and normal, but clean. Average bed, nice shared kitchen. Something like hostel, but nice one. Miszony elevator is the issue when you travel with the laguage. Park which is few steps away - rocks!

The rooms and property were very clean. They are also in an ideal area for walking to see nearby sights. One of the two rooms we had was not good at all. The air conditioning didn't work and the shower flooded because it was backed up. So one room was excellent, one was terrible. I imagine this is a rare occasion in this place but it was very unfortunate for one of our rooms to have issues.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were wonderful. Bear in mind if you stay, there are no staff working there, so you should organise to meet at a specific time. I didn't do this, but staff arrived about 20 minutes after I rang the door bell. Also, staff have very limited English language, but with lots of hand gestures and Google Translate, we got there. The room was lovely, quiet, and safe.

Le self-checking était rapide. La literie confortable et la chambre propre. Parfait pour un court séjour. Bien situé pour accéder au centre historique de la Catane. Petits bémols sur le petit déjeuner (café/petits gâteaux), et le fait que nous n’ayons croisé personne en charge du B&B.
