Green Glass Hotel

I had 10 nice stay in the deluxe room of the green glass hotel but Not everything's ok. Pros: 1.Staff and service was very good, From the reception, housekeeping to the security downstairs are all very helpful and friendly. 2. Daily housekeeping and replenishment of amenities, coffee and bottled water 3. Free wi-fi is pretty strong and stable 4. My room has a small pantry with own sink and microwave and has safety deposit box 5. Having a swipe-in keycard in the elevator for the in-house guest of the hotel makes me feel secured from the unauthorized outsiders. 6. Location is great being in the centre of all. Hotel is a stone-throw away from all the fast food chains, pharmacies, groceries/market and few meters walk to SM Calamba Cons: 1. For the price i paid for the deluxe room i expected to have a quiet, peaceful, relaxing stay and having a good quality sleep. But..... most of my nights are nightmare! There was a terrible and loud Karaoke noise and sounds of chairs being pulled on the floor coming from the resto/bar upstairs. Me and my mom couldn't hear each other in the room and I couldn't sleep. I have to wait til the restaurant closes so i ended up sleeping late and tired in the next day morning. 2. During the day and in my entire 10 days stay, there was a noisy dog barking echoing in the whole corridor. When i phoned the reception i was told that it was from the owner of the hotel who stays in the same floor of the guests. I thought, Pets are not allowed in the hotel but apparently the hotel owner itself must have to break its own policy. 3. No windows in my room ( considering it's a deluxe room) 4. My bed mattress is so terrible to the point that it sinked-in in the bed frame and i ended up sliding out of the bed. 5. No in-room menu/dining 6. No breakfast 7. Bed sheet, blanket, pillow case and bath towels are old, ugly and has a musty smell 8. The whole room smells old and musty 9. Furnitures are old and dusty. Chairs are full of stains 10. Toiletries> no cotton buds, no shower cap 11. Limited hot water in the shower 12. No facial tissues provided in the room 13. Limited parking space, (although i don't need one) 14. No bellboy to carry your luggage, but the reception can send one for help I would still recommend this hotel to my friends and family for a night to 2 nights max stay considering all the cons and frustrations i mentioned. Will just suggest that to choose the standard room and "maybe" it is quieter and cheaper than the deluxe room that i got which is so expensive and it is supposed to be quieter but surprisingly located in a noisy floor. *Take note that the reception is at the 2nd floor.

Nothing so fancy here. Room was okay, has a safety deposit box. Location was okay, there was a 7 -eleven besides the building. So if you have forgotten something to buy,you might go here. No free breakfast, but there was a bar if you would like to chill.

We had a nice stay in the green glass hotel, everything was very clean. Very good that they give you water as it can get stuffy as there is no windows. All staff were very helpful. Although I think the house keeping was a bit much as they folded up every bit of clothes that we left on the floor.

The aftermath of a terrible typhoon in the area has caused a massive blackout for more than a week. Wanting to get a good quality sleep, I decided to look for nearby hotels where I could check-in. I remembered this hotel so I inquired in the reception. Having heard the price (during that time, the cheapest was P2500++) I was about to back-out and look for another hotel but the demand was so high since people are wanting the nice feel of aircon during the massive blackout so I've given in. The last remaining available room went to me. I was surprised how tiny the room was. There was no window so if you're claustrophobic, this hotel is a no-go. No welcome drinks. No free bottled water (dunno whether they forgot to put some in my room). The wifi that time was broken due to the typhoon, and the cable signal was terrible. No in-room menu/dining. Luckily, the hotel is a stone away from all the fastfood chain (beside McDonalds, in front of KFC, cross the street for Jollibee) and a few meters walk from SM Calamba mall. Location is great being in the centre of all. Parking is limited so I had to reserve a slot. I gave a tip to the guard who kept manning the area. Reception is at the 2nd floor so don't be surprised. Stayed around July 2014.

#1 Strength is location, 7-11 to the entrance left, McDonalds to door's right. SM (Super Mall) 5 minutes walk on the elevated (safety) pedestrian bridge. NOW like other reviews I agree this was the priciest hotel x 40 others I've stayed especially with no pool or breakfast! WiFi vs. rain clouds was spotty. Yet I WILL stay here again, I like the Suite's layout, and a CR with tub. I also like NOT needing a trike/Jheep/bus/taxi for three days. Great location, just beside Mcdonalds Calamba crossing. Friendly staff. Rates doesnt include breakfast, rooms are with standard amenities, but even the Royal superior doesnt have refrigerator. No covered/basement parking. Only Street parking. Unused bathroom rug is dirty.

I stayed here twice already. What i love it here is the location, it is near pretty much to everything. 7/11 downstairs, mc donalds next door, bus terminal going to manila on the other side, sm calamba is walking distance so as the public market. The room is small, pretty basic and a bit pricey for me but i thought maybe im paying for the location and it is clean; so i dont mind. It has cabled t.v, AC and wifi; (although in my last stay no wifi included in my room coz i opt to stay in their a bit cheaper room). They will provide you with 2 bottled mineral water, towels ( last time i had to request for it, maybe HK just forgot) and some toiletries. I like it here coz they use e-card already and i get to bring it with me unlike with other hotels that i have to surrender it to the F.O. Another thing is although the hotel is small, they have elevator. Staffs are nice and accommodating. Last time, i stained the bed sheet and i thought they will charge me for it but when HK have checked it, they said its okay and didn't charged me a single cent. What a relief!😄 It has always been a great experience for me. So im definitely staying here again.
