Great value, right on the beach, in center of Alona Beach, the band (Frank and Birdwatchers big band) plays best rock & roll I have heard in a very long time, great selection of beer at best price. I've stayed at B&D Bluestone, and South Beach Bohol hotels, but keep coming back to Birdwatchers, great staff and fun place to stay. Highly recommend.

Amazing location right on the beach. Brilliant staff and owner. Best live band I've heard traveling Asia. Music stopped at 11pm so could sleep well and get up early the next morning for diving, or could carry on at Escape a few hundred meters along the beach front. Highly recommend...will be back!

It’s in a beach

The hotel is with a very loud bar that features continuously a horrible amateur rock and roll band that does not know when to stop. Nobody can sleep there.

We gave this accommodation two stars. The only positive was its beachfront location. However, if you’re looking for a restful night, this is not the place for you. There’s a bar right below the rooms with live music until 1 or 2 AM, and in the morning, construction noise starts early. We booked for three people but were given just one double bed and a very thin, uncomfortable mattress as an extra. Overall, not a great experience.

The staff was accomodating.

Two live bands excessively loud. One in the hotel, one next to it and competing in volume at night. The reason we had a hotel was for sleep. The bands played late every night. The shower was pathetic. We had problems with local kids. They knew the balcony behind the hotel had a good wifi signal. That was right in front of our room, and I could have picked that lock in 20 seconds. I ran them off twice. There was no security for that and no safe deposit box.

The staff was helpful.

The nearest paid parking area was a bit of a walk. So it is not advisable to those with heavy luggage as you need to carry the luggage once you reach the shore. Shower area was clogged, toilet flush is not working. I paid Php 5500 for this family room which I found out later is not beach front, it was located a the back with no view or window..
