Glamping at Karuna El Nido

Wir haben 6 Nächte in der Pyramide verbracht & fanden es wunderbar. Haben von Anfang an ein Scooter gemietet und sind damit herumgefahren. Es war alles bestens!

We had an amazing stay at Karuna. A little off the beaten path which is perfect if you want to escape the hectic town. Once up the hill, your greeted with peace and quiet and breathtaking views of the bay. The staff was very friendly and helpful providing us rides to and from town whenever we needed them. The restaurant/pool area was the perfect place to start and end the day with good food and great vibes. The rooms were very clean and had excellent AC which we were grateful for. Does require a bit of stair climbing but not overly burdensome. Overall a great place to stay in el nido, would certainly recommend!

Et helt fantastisk overnattingssted, som virkelig gir valuta for pengene. Det er kun ett år gammelt, og jeg vil gjette at prisene kommer til å øke betraktelig i løpet av de neste årene. Vi bodde i the jungle lodge, og utsikten var helt fantastisk! De ansatte ordnet også med en bursdagskake til guttungen, og viste en enorm service gjennom oppholdet vårt på tre netter. Dette er virkelig en perle, og vi gir det 10/10!

This is an incredible site on the side of a very steep hill. Arriving by tuk tuk from El Nido town (7 mins, 150 PHP) we were dropped at the security gate. A courtesy bike took us up the very steep drive to reception. We stayed in the Dome, a remarkable view over the bay behind El Nido with a huge deck and wonderful interior space. It’s definitely glamping so keep that in mind. The attention on things that we found important - a great Japanese kettle, fantastic ceramic mugs for tea and coffee, huge wine glasses and a fridge and freezer for chilling down drinks to enjoy on the deck with that view. The bed was comfortable and the features lovely and tasteful. The camping side was the bathroom is a little cramped and annoyingly the air conditioner is placed right above your head on the bed. You need to run this through the night and it had a habit of dripping condensation right where my head rested on the pillow. I’m told they will fix this because they really must. They run a fantastic free shuttle bike into town and can collect you from a central point to return home. The pool was beautiful and the restaurant solid, tasty though a few items missing off the menu. Really loved the stay, so quiet away from the bustle of the streets below.

Vilket fantastiskt ställe! Bodde hur bra som helst, vilken magisk utsikt. Bodde i deras ”Dome”. Så cool. Väldigt serviceminded personal. Körde en gratis in till stan varje dag och hämtade en när man ville. Bokade utflykter till oss och hjälpte till med allt man frågade om.

It was beautiful and service was excellent! We stayed at the jungle lodge. It had privacy and beautiful views.

Glamping at Karuna offers a unique experience with cool but very functional units. I stayed in the Cocoon until which overlooks at stunning view of the beach and surrounding islands. The unit itself is beautifully designed and furnished, good air conditioning units, clean, with lots of room. It also features a good size seating area where you can relax and read or just take in the view. The staff are extremely friendly and will provide you with excellent recommendations around town. Some people might find the location a little inconvenient as it’s away from the beach and situated atop a hill. But this allows for quieter nights and better views. The hotel does provide a shuttle until 10pm which takes you down to the town centre. Overall this was a very pleasant experience for me and I would definitely stay here again.

Positives of this property is you are secluded in the beautiful forest with a beautiful serene and comfortable space, the dome tent was beautifully presented and loved the deck area to relax and take in the scenery. The hotel offered shuttle pick up and drop off to the main centre of town which was great because you are a bit too far out to walk. You could rent a scooter but it’s a decent hill climb up and down to the property. The restaurant offered a free breakfast option off the menu which was good to be able to choose something different each day. Their lunch/dinner options were fairly good. Recommend the mango sticky rice and Filipino noodles.

This hotel is just fantastic. New modern and with a fantastic view. The service was fantastic!
