Bakawan Hideaway Resort and Restaurant

Breakfast was good. Nice swimming pool. Car rental service (new modern car) is very good.

The cottages are old and not very clean. The restaurant is average. The resort is more focused on local visitors for dining and parties.

Great and clean hotel, smiley staff and especially delicious food with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for families with kids.

Water flow speed in room can be a bit better, otherwise nothing to criticize about the hotel.

Staff and food, 11/2 hr wait for dinner order Valentine’s Day to be told not available and the quality of food not so good. Breakfast told not included then after some checking ok then given list of breakfast to order you can only order 1 of each ie 1 egg 1 toast and one add on I choose bacon anything else you pay for so be careful what your ordering ended up costing an extra 400 really poor kitchen operation.

Of all the places we have been to this is by far the best ever. So clean so fresh love the location and the food was totally awesome great valve. The staff were fantastic went out of there way to accommodate and extremely impressed that management and owner went out of there way to talk ..totally awesome

Nothing this place is perfect

I liked that the owner is very helpful and does everything to make you feel comfortable, we recommend it to everyone

The pool was great. There is a nice space under the rooms to chill out or do work. The staff were great. The breakfast/dining area was lovely and the food was delicious. Good dinner menu.

The room and bathroom were a bit small but manageable for two people.

The staff is so super nice, we're so thankful! We had health related issues and they have done an excellent job of helping and caring. The hotel is small, you can spend a good time there and it really feels like a Hideaway

Maybe as a western tourist coming to Leyte for the underwater world the location is not perfect

The food quality in the restaurant was exceptional each time, and the staff were attentive and organised. Perfect place to relax and disconnect for a few days. The karaoke room was also a hit!
