Taprobane House

Fantastisk sted og meget luksuriøst. Stort værelse med alkove, skab, mørkelægningsgardiner, stor seng, tv og meget fint bad. Pool og fællesrum var enormt hyggelige og personalet var 10/10. Mig og min mand havde årsdag, og de hjalp med at arrangere en rooftop dinner for os med lys og blomster. Kan varmt anbefale dette sted. Ligger tæt på shopping.

The staff! I stayed there over the week I was performing my dad’s final right and it was a really emotional time for me. Nuwan, Wendy, Pere and Suwen were absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful and made feel feel safe, welcomed and comfortable. They were always available and quick to respond. Not only were they professionals at their job, but also very sensitive and warm. Taprobane House showcases Sri Lankans hospitality and kindness to its best! It was hard to imagine that in the chaos of busy Colombo this hotel can provide a five star sanctuary. I’ll definitely stay again!

Staff and chef very nice but attention to detail : ie we always travel with vehicle and there was work going on and the roller shutter was opened and then I get out, and mention about the works as then ah .. oh yeah need to deal with that …two out of the available power socket in the room had broken plug and could not take it out ; AC was struggling ; but the housekeeping guy and door security always nice .. we have stayed there approx half a dozen times in the past .. we can pay same money with nice coffee down the road .. hope it’s a positive feedback and apologies if it offends ..
