Windy Hanthana

Stayed there for 3 nights, it's good value for money. Although dusting is required in room, spider nets and dust in the room. It rained most of the time I stayed there, uncle is helpful poor man.

1. Excellent location 2. The caretaker uncle Kittsiri was an amazing and kind person. He took care of everything. He walked 1-2 km to show the places and also way to main city 3 Rooms were clean and big 4. Good view of Hanthana and adjoining mountain from the terrace in the morning

1 It was a bit difficult to get tuk tuk via pickme app as it was raining. Had to try on app for 30 mins as other local drivers were asking 1000-1500 Rs from the bus stop. 2. Had to wait for gate locks to be opened in the morning. Not a big issue as you can call Kittsiri uncle but still some waiting time is there 3. There are no shops or restaurants nearby. So plan to get any food or necessary item from Kandy Town. Kittsiri uncle can arrange food for you

Really nice house in a quiet neighbourhood on top of a hill. The host was really friendly and showed us some nice spots around the house. He bought us dinner for a very reasonable price from a local restaurant.

I think the entire house is taken care of one caretaker. He’s a really lovely person but it’s probably not possible to keep it perfectly clean alone. The rooftop area has a lot of potential for a bar or chill out area.
