Emerald Bay Resort Mirissa

A nice, like-new hotel with spacious and very comfortable rooms. Everything was clean, and the bed was simply the best ever. The staff was very helpful, fulfilling all our requests and assisting with transportation and sightseeing. The breakfast was diverse, with a great selection of fresh fruits. The location is rather quiet, right at the harbor with a beautiful view of the marina, yet all the essentials (beaches, restaurants, shops) are within walking distance. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and would highly recommend it to others.

There were some Wi-Fi issues, although overall, it was mostly available.

Right next to a fishing harbour, near the sea but not near the beach. Pool was ok, definitely photo shopped on the photos There was no bar or atmosphere The hotel will double in size with the extensive building work that is happening

Pool could do with daily/regular cleaning. Breakfast not fabulous, packed away early. Little bit of building work going on but would be fab in future.

It had all the facilities you required.

The accommodation is not directly onto the beach front, its about 10 mins walk to the Marissa beach and about 25 mins walk or 5 mins by Tuk-Tuk to the Secret beach. There is no lift currently but I understand that they are proposing to install a lift shortly which would be a great help.

Cost and location

The only minor complaint is lack of shower cubicle or glass partition in the bathroom. Whole floor gets wet after a shower….

Lovely new property, nice room with balcony. In a good quieter location but still walking distance to everything. Good breakfast.

Slightly overpriced for what it is. Pool bar never open.
