"Lovely place"

Lovely place, well situated for exploring the city center. Very clean, good bed. Quiet corner next to a church. Roberta was very gracious to let me store my luggage the next day until I needed to catch my ferry.

The only reason I give 7 instead of 9 score is that something went wrong with the check in. I let Roberta know when I would arrive and received no extra information about the check in. Then when I got there I let them know I arrived and waited. Then after 10 minutes I did not hear anything I called but no answer. Only after half an hour waiting and calling many times I got a reply. She thought she had sent me the info on WhatsApp but did not or at least I never received it. When she found out that I had been waiting she was very sorry and apologetic. This can happen. Somewhere it went wrong. But it would have been nice if she was reachable when I called the first time. Then when I was in the building I used the key for the wrong room and somehow opened it. Then I saw some elses stuff there, fortunately not someone else. This was my mistake for not reading the info well enough about which room was mine. When I texted Roberta about my confusion she was already on her way to make sure I got settled in all right. She and her friend were very concerned for my well being. As per the other reviews I do not believe this communication mishap happened other times. So I would still go back next time in Palermo.
