Hiru Lagoon Negombo

Perfekte kleine Unterkunft. kleines Paradies etwas außerhalb von Negombo, trotzdem ist man mit dem Tuktuk innerhalb von 10 min mitten in der Stadt. Wunderschöner Garten mit Pool, direkt am See. Zimmer groß, sauber, bequeme Betten, sehr nettes Personal, man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Perfekt, nach oder vor einem langen Flug zu entspannen. Wir würden hier nächstes mal 2-3 Tage einplanen.

Small, very nice guesthouse, close to the airport. Great pool. Very nice option for those arriving or leaving from Colombo airport.

Right from the first hello to our farewell we were made to feel like much loved family members at this boutique accomodation. The service was 150%. It was our last night in Sri Lanka before heading to the airport which was about 20 minutes away. Far enough away to not be overly impacted by the noise of planes overhead. The property was kept in immaculate condition and the swim in the private pool was greatly appreciated after a long hot holiday. We elected to purchase dinner at the property, it was a delicious and abundant selection of home made curries. It was well worth the small charge. The breakfast was equally enjoyable. We were never left hungry or disappointed. The rooms were large and nicely appointed. It was a great experience, we loved it.

Absolutely nothing

A fabulous introduction to Sri Lanka. So quiet and serene in a beautiful location backing onto the lagoon. We were made to feel very welcome & breakfast was fabulous. Thankyou

We had an excellent stay at Hiru Lagoon. Aisha, the host, takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay for her guests - the room and pool area was spotlessly clean, breakfast and dinner were delicious and very reasonably priced, and help was on hand 24/7 via WhatsApp. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Aisha for such a lovely stay.

Very helpful considerate host, sent out for wine, beatiful outlook over lagoon despite alley access. Excellent food. It lashed down the evening we we there but they took care of everything

Beautiful modern 3 room hotel right on the side of the lagoon. Isha’s evening meal of various curries was one of the best we had and she produced an equally delicious breakfast at 5.30 am before we left for our flight home. I wish we could have stayed longer to watch the boats and birds on the lagoon from the enticing infinity pool in the garden.

We visited this quaint oasis after a 10.5 hour flight from London. It was exactly what we needed. A quiet sanctuary with unmissable views and incredibly friendly staff. The food was beautiful, mild and flavourful - appealing to all. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone flying into Colombo but looking for an outside stay. A place we will not forget!

Not much to do around there, but the owner took us on a short sunset boat trip on the lagoon and the fish market is interesting.

The hostess was so friendly and lovely and took our hearts by storm. Always helpful, manages requests promptly. Always there but very discrete. The garden was the most peaceful and green space we’ve seen. Nicely decorated with plants, perfectly clean pool, nice sun-beads in with a view directly to the lagoon. They always put incense sticks to keep the mosquitos away. It smelled very nicely. Thank you very much for the unforgettable stay!🙏🏻
