Very nice and quiet location overlooking the valley on the outskirts of the walking zone. Lovely host who’s takes his time to explain the history of the city and recommends all important things to see. We liked his special tips which tourists otherwise would not get to know.

Richtig tolle Unterkunft am Rande der Stadt, daher angenehm ruhig. Nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der historischen Altstadt entfernt. Direkt gegenüber von Hotel gibt es Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Lage war perfekt. Sehr schöne Zimmer, tolle Terrasse mit wunderschönen Ausblick. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich, dass der Gastgeber Martino unglaublich herzlich und freundlich zu uns war. Er gab uns hilfreiche Tipps, wie wir die Stadt besichtigen und empfahl uns fantastische Restaurants, die wir ohne seine Tipps nicht gefunden hätten. Die Unterkunft kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen!!!

Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

The view (Murgia Timona Valley); the room - big and you seem to be in a real Sasso; the host (the best ever); the comfort of the bed and pillows ( the best in this trip); the food: excellent breakfast! PARKING - very very close to the albergo. Best choice in Matera!

Vielen Dank an unseren lieben Gastgeber Martino! Martino ist der sympathischste, freundlichste und hilfsbereiteste Gastgeber den wir jetzt kennenlernen durften. Er erklärte uns wie wir in einem Tag das schöne Matera kennenlernen durften . Er nahm sich Zeit für uns ganz entspannt mit Hilfe eines Stadtplans eine wunderschöne Runde durch Matera zu gestalten. Diesen Plan folgten wir auf Schritt und Tritt und es klappte wunderbar! Ohne seine Hilfe hätten wir das nie geschafft! Vielen Dank an unseren herzlichen Martino! Unser Zimmer war wunderschön und das Frühstück phantastisch! Alle Produkte aus der Region! Das Haus ist wunderschön renoviert und von der Terrasse aus sieht man auf den Canyon:)). Auch kleine Gärten schmücken diese wunderschöne Anwesen Alles mit Liebe gestaltet und gepflegt! Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Matera kommen, nur bei Martino:))!!!!!!!!! Grazie mile! Saluti Doris und Lothar mit Ludwig unseren lieben Dackel!!!!

We loved our stay in Matera! The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We had a private deck overlooking the gorge. It is a simple walk to the old town. Martino, the host, couldn't be any more helpful or nice! He is quick to respond, takes time to make suggestions, and goes beyond expectations to make your stay memorable. The breakfasts were perfect! We would highly recommend this property and will definitely return!
