Marco was excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. View was stunning. Breakfast was good. An easy walk into town if you can handle cars whizzing by you in close vicinity.

The walls between units are not very sound proof. Didn’t bother us but it may some people depending on the neighbours.

We loved the location and view room. However, we had a lot of ants show up at night without there being food in the room. Staff came in within an hour to help clean them up.

Very expensive but less than average accommodation, impolite welcome and generally unhelpful staff, everything seemed too much effort for them!

You need to go through 500 steps down (literally written in the entrance) to get to the beach, and 500 up to get to the room. This was not mentioned when I booked.

This property was not even close to being worth the cost per night. It’s a 20-30 min walk from downtown Amalfi (with no hotel provided transportation). Also, they make it look like the beach belongs to the hotel and it doesn’t, you have to pay for chairs even if you’re a hotel guest. Would highly recommend looking at a different hotel closer to town (if even it is a bit more pricy).

Poor/wrong information about location and room amenities, walking distance to beach and Amalfi port is not correct, we walk from the port to the hotel uphill more then 17 minutes, (they won’t say is uphill walking distance) the beach is not 3 minute walk, there’s a private beach down stairs, about 20 minute to get back to the hotel from that beach. ( if you want a bed and umbrella is 40 Euro per person) Website photos of the room I stayed were not correct, there supposed to be a balcony with table and chairs, and there’s only a small balcony. All this things matter when you are on vacation and you booked weeks before this hotel. I contacted Expedia and they did nothing for me, I’m the customer, they gave priority to the hotel.

We were upgraded to a better room with large balcony. Great view excellent customer service. The bad 2 minutes of hot water in the shower. Thin walls you car here the next door guest breath aircon is not adequate uncomfortably warm u til after midnight when the temperature drops. 3 stars or maybe 2 also the bed comfort is 1 out to 5.
