Too pompous trying to be something that they are not. Woild not stay again. Stayed st much better hotels for a quarter of the price. Rip off

Beware if you look for a quiet place! We went in our honeymoon, and we could not even sleep 5 hours. We had extremely load noise (+50db) from the afternoon until 2am! Not only that day, next day I tried to have a nap and back a terrible noise from street speakers. They did not warn us of any public event, but that is not the only problem, they do not attend and help you. You will find yourself alone at night, with a fake 24/7 service answering... never. Then we found another number and they finally answered 30 minutes later. No solution, not earplugs, nothing. Be careful because they will not try to solve it and of course compensate in any way. Worst hotel from 9 hotels in the full honeymoon. Never coming back.

The staff go above and beyond in every possible way — attentive without being intrusive, and always anticipating your needs before you even have to ask. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and their genuine care elevates the entire experience. The food is another standout — fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Each meal felt like a special occasion, enjoyed in an incredible setting that only adds to the overall experience. If you’re visiting Sri Lanka and looking for a place that offers serenity, luxury, and world-class hospitality, Bellwood Manor is an absolute must. We will be recommending it to everyone and cannot wait to return.
