Very good value for the price, I arrive early in the morning (way before check in time so I would be able to do a safari) and they promptly prepared my room! It’s amazing that you can just rock up and book a safari on the spot, it made my experience seamless. There are some good restaurants and cafes near by for dinner. The free breakfast included in the price was an excellent local selection. The host went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. I am very appreciative of Kavindu who speaks excellent English and is extremely kind and helpful. They can sort you out with transfers to wherever you need to go or kindly drop you off at the bus station if you choose the local transport option!

Helpful hosts - they organised a fantastic morning safari for us. Spacious and air conditioned room. The property has a nice pool which we used as well.

This accommodation is a fraud, which becomes obvious if you read the reviews on Google Maps. Their concept is to offer very cheap accommodation and then pressure guests into booking an overpriced safari tour with them. I already suspected something was wrong, as I repeatedly asked for the safari price via messages, but they kept telling me to come to reception and discuss it in person. They even wanted me to reserve a jeep without giving me any price beforehand. I realized it was a scam, but I couldn’t cancel the booking, so we went anyway. They only allowed us to stay because the hotel was completely empty (likely due to the war situation). Otherwise, they probably would have claimed there were no available rooms — something also mentioned in other Google Maps reviews. When we arrived, they even turned off the pool lights, and the host was on the phone, seemingly asking someone what to do with us. The price included breakfast, but the host told us there was a buffet that ended before 10 a.m., which makes no sense since guests usually leave for safari at that time. In reality, there was no buffet at all — we didn’t see any setup when we returned — so we essentially paid for a non-existent breakfast. As for the room, it was very basic. The beds were comfortable, but there were no bedside tables, and the lamp cable was hanging loosely (as shown in the photo). There are no negative reviews on the booking platform because guests who experience this situation often leave early and cancel their reservation, which prevents them from leaving a review. Avoid this type of accommodation. You can easily find a local safari guide for a much better price and a far better overall experience.

Our reservation was cancelled last minute due to "heavy rain and problems with sewage". We have confirmed the stay the previous day after reading comments about not being allowed to stay if not booking the safari with them. We have informed them we have a different safari booked and they have said it's not a problem, just to text us the following day that we were supposed to check in that they have to cancel our stay. Also they were not transparent about the Safari prices at all, when I requested the offer they said the price varies 55-100 USD and that it depends on the government???

It was super nice. Highly recommended.
