Airport Tourist Resort

Very close to the airport, nice stuff, beds are comfortable and there are water dispensers.

I came at 3 in the morning, I informed them before but no-one was awake. But luckily the door of one of the dorms was opened and I found a bed to sleep in.

Normally I don't write reviews, but this time I have to. I was traveling alone, came there in the night and it seemed pretty dodgy. I stayed in a double bed room, the sheets where dirty (sure they rarely change them), also the floor was dirty. There is just a really thin door with a window (so no privacy), that you can lock. Next to my room there was a room/floor where other people were staying, walls are so thin, I could hear them snoring. The bathroom and the kitchen are the worst. The bathroom wasn't cleaned for awhile, they didn't even try. In the kitchen I saw a rat. Absolutely not worth the money!! I was asking for pick up service in advance, they told me "no problem, just text when you are there". So I did when I arrived in the night, but then he told me I should get a regular taxi, would be cheaper he meant (it wasn't).

It's convenient for the airport and bus station, is very cheap and has a 24 hour check in, unlike the nearest hostel.

There was no bedding part from a bottom sheet (and pillow), and a (Russian) man in the dorm who was probably a smoker was coughing all through the night, making sleep impossible. The common area upstairs has cobwebs.

The kindness and friendliness of the family members that I experienced here remains memorable for me. Thank you very much for the hospitality! A very good memory as my first overnight stay in Sri Lanka.

I had problem with mosquitoes at night, I had to use a repellent to be able to sleep normally. My suggestion for improvement would be mosquito nets at the beds.
