We were there on our honeymoon and the hosts Michael and Linda were simply the sweetest - they upgraded us and made it also quite convenient for us given our circumstances of returning home that day! We lovved the room and everything about it is so on point with Victorian culture. The bed was so good!

Although there is breakfast included, it isn't really a meal that's served and rather provision of a kitchen with basic stuff which one needs to self-serve like at a home.

The house is really beautiful and we were welcomed by our host. The rooms are spacious and spotless

I didn’t like that after the welcome the host disappeared. No contact-cameras everywhere, filming your every move. This is very intruding. You can make your breakfast yourself…the place could do with a little more warmth.

This is a very lovely, safe, welcoming space in a quiet but convenient part of the city. Think tall ceilings and grand architecture. The rooms are large and luxurious, and there are shared amenities downstairs that we really appreciated. They accommodated an early check in and a luggage hold at checkout. It was a haven for us after a long day out. Make sure to check out the public transit here. We actually found it really easy to get to and from Aachen House and they accept pay wave / tap to pay on the bus stops nearby.

A very petty complaint, but a couple more outlets (or better yet USB ports) for bedside tables would've been helpful. Not to be expected in a historic inn.
