Spacious and comfortable, I stay here a lot. Secure parking is a nice touch. Everything you need really.

Would be better if you could pick the keys up in the building reception instead of what would be a pretty long walk if you didn’t have a car. But in saying that not too much bother in a car. Just a little strange.

"PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING"

Our experience with Central Park Residence was extremely disappointing from the very beginning. Upon arrival at Apartment 1203 (24 Park Avenue, Ellerslie), the air conditioning was completely non-functional. Both bedrooms and the living room were unbearably hot, making the space unlivable. Although a technician was sent, the AC could not be repaired on the spot. We were then instructed to relocate to another property at 294 Manukau Road, Epsom, which caused significant disruption. We had to repack all our belongings, arrange transport, adjust our itinerary and paid activities, and move late at night. The replacement accommodation was not of a comparable standard. It was an older property with only one bathroom instead of two, and while the AC in the hallway worked, both bedrooms remained extremely hot. There were no fans or AC units in the bedrooms, and the cooling from the hallway unit did not reach them. Despite clearly requesting that no one enter the property for safety and privacy reasons, staff still entered without our consent to drop off fans. To make matters worse, the toilet at the replacement property had not been flushed and was in an unacceptable state when we arrived. The conditions were so uncomfortable that we did not stay for the full duration of our booking. We left after the first unbearable night, as it was impossible to continue our stay under those circumstances. Communication throughout this ordeal was extremely poor. Calls repeatedly went to voicemail, and on the few occasions we managed to get through, each person directed us to contact someone else. No one provided clear assistance or took responsibility. We have also attempted multiple times to resolve the issue instead of leaving a review, but they have not engaged with us at all. Given the significant inconvenience, the downgrade in accommodation quality, the breach of privacy, and the lack of communication or support, we cannot recommend this accommodation provider.

Beautiful view from the room

• Check-in Issue: Delay collecting the key due to it being located elsewhere. When I arrived, the lockbox was already open and the key was missing. Someone came around 20 minutes later to resolve it. • Cleanliness Concerns: • Stains were present throughout the room • Floor was sticky upon arrival, likely from spilled drinks • No broom or mop provided to clean the floors • Towels were burned and unclean, though some spare ones were available • Spoons, forks, and butter knives were dirty • Maintenance Problems: • Curtain was broken • Several holes in the wall in the main bedroom • Missing lightbulbs in some areas • Kitchen & Bathroom Issues: • Dishwashing liquid was watered down to appear full • Body wash bottle was also diluted • No proper knives for meat, only a bread knife • Waste Management: • Not enough rubbish space provided for the length of our stay There was quite a few more things unmentioned. Overall it was an okay stay nonetheless they can work on these things to provide better service and quality for future guests
