Motto By Hilton Cusco

It’s a fairly new hotel which feels like a converted hacienda. The hotel had a nice feel but the rooms are very small with one side of the double bed pushed up against the wall so that person basically has to crawl up the bed to get under the covers. The staff was top notch especially Marcella at the front desk. The location is close to the cathedral and 15 minute walk to the Lake Titicaca train station

If you want a basic bed and a shower this is the place. Bed was very comfortable. The water in the shower was inconsistent. Would turn it on and would get lukewarm water and then suddenly it would be hot. The room was small but it was clean. No hair dryer, no in room coffee service and no iron or ironing board. I had to ask for one which they brought up promptly. It broke while I was using it. However, as a Hilton Diamond member I was disappointed. No water upon check in, no recognition for being a loyal Hilton guest and didn’t feel like there was much hospitality offered in general. No coffee available unless you paid for Nescafé instant. No perks at all. Was offered breakfast or points. The location is good but very noisy. For the first 2 nights we could not sleep. So much noise coming from the streets. Windows are not sound proof and can hear everything. Lots of cars and honking horns. Service was good. The staff was pleasant. It was not like the service I usually expect from Hilton. If you just want a bed for the night and no frills this is your hotel. I expect more from a Hilton property and felt that the staff were not trained in the Hilton standards adequately. I am disappointed with the Motto overall because it just doesn’t deliver the Hilton standards that I have come to expect. I stay at Hiltons because of their service and quality and this didn’t meet those standards. I would not stay here again but it served our purposes. I felt I would have been better off staying at the JW Marriot a few doors down. I probably will not choose to stay at another Hilton Motto.

The hotel is modern and clean, the staff is friendly, the service is excellent. I was happy to stay there.

The only downside is that the location can be a bit noisy because it's close to roads with heavy traffic, it isn't too terrible though. Otherwise, the location is great because it's very central.

Amazing stay at the Hilton Motto. Great location a short walk from the Plaza de Armas. Staff were awesome. Very friendly and helpful.

Everything was good, except for a couple of reservations hiccups that the staff fixed. Other than that, everyone was very friendly and pleasant, Jimena was phenomenal.

Super convenient location, most restaurants and shops were not over a 10min walk. Noise from the traffic in the streets outside get in though, I recommending getting ear plugs if you are not a deep sleeper. Water temperature was inconsistent during the shower as well. Price is very reasonable though, and the staff were friendly.

Great location and service upon arrival. Staff is friendly and greeted me with a local to to adjust to the altitude. Definitely recommend.

I greatly appreciated the staff and their assistance, Jimena and Cristobal and all of the others from the night managers to day staff to head manager were very pleasant to deal with. The rooms also have good heat for colder nights which I greatly appreciated. I had an issue with a double booking that I wasn't sure would be resolved easily, but it ended up not being a problem at all to get taken care of with the help of the local staff and I did not end up having to deal with customer service at all thankfully.

As it is a historical building, the walls were a little thinner than I would have preferred, but this is not something that effected my experience.
