Comfortable beds, kitchen and hot shower. We could leave our bags during our Salkantay trek. The location was very good, within walking distance of all hotspots in town.

It was very quiet in the hostel, with not a lot of guests and when we left for the Salkantay trek and wanted to check-out, the lady was gone.

Staff tried to charge my VAT tax 18% on top of my booking price, even though foreigners are not supposed to pay vat, by law. staff kept insisting, but I flatly refused. Then they tried to add 11% commission for card payment. I also refused. it took a lot of arguing and threat to leave for another hostle to simply pay the price I was supposed to pay in the first place. ridiculous. there was no hot water in the morning, staff just threw up their hands and offered no solution, couldn’t shower, thank god I was already going to another hostel. wifi didn’t work from my bed (female room), had to go to the corridor to use it you have to buzz in and wait for staff to open the door even during the day, which is really annoying

Loved staying here! Comfiest bed in South America! The hosts were friendly and helpful, they cleaned our room everyday. We were able to store our luggage and hang out in common areas until our bus time. Kitchen is well equiped and clean.

Our room had a skylight if your sensitive to light coming in you may wake up early.

It felt like at home! I wish that all hostels could be like this. The staff was kind and flexible, it was very clean and quiet, the kitchen was very well equipped also. The location was perfect: close to San Pedro Market and also to Mollepata bus terminal (to Salkantay/Humantay Lake)

The accommodation is fine and basic. They will store luggage for many days which is good for anyone going on a trek.

They charged me VAT of 18% on top of the price on booking.com. I explained that international tourists who are in Peru less than 60 days don't pay this but they insisted. This is a scam. Do not pay the VAT here!

Great location for getting bus to start of Salkantey trek. V comfortable and clean. Nice and warm and modern. Good shower. Tea making facilities

Paying on card had a charge. You couldn't use the kitchen to cook..so it wouldn't be a choice for me for more than one night.
