Mzion Hotel Weligama

We had a wonderful stay at Mzion. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day of surfing/exploring. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. What really made our stay special was the outstanding service from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Thidasi, Dinuja, and Lasitha, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again in the future.

Ruime kamer met een goed bed. De douche was ook erg fijn, alleen de deur sloot niet goed. Het ontbijt was erg divers en uitgebreid. De wifi was goed en de locatie was fijn ten opzichte van het strand en eettentjes.

Het zwembad was niet super schoon.

Room was absolutely stunning, we got upgraded to a suite and the room was huge, had everything we needed and had an incredible view. Brilliant location, everything was walkable.

I would say a tiny bit overpriced, especially as you don’t automatically get breakfast with it. We asked staff to help us book a taxi to the airport, we were told they couldn’t do that due to issues with third party taxi drivers and were told to just book an uber which worried us as our flight was early. We ended up booking via third party ourselves (would highly reccomend Mirissa cabs) but generally staff were unhelpful with this.

The best stay for solo travelers. Quite rooms. Good breakfast.

A comfortable room, with good sized balcony, very near to the beach, cafes and restaurants Bus & train station a 5 minute walk away, but in a quiet road. Sri Lankan breakfast was lovely

Some guests were noisy at night, but this is not the hotel’s fault
