Tammah Jackson Hole

In our experience we had an amazing view of the surrounding field and the south end of the Tetons. The bed was comfortable and the grounds were very quiet. There is great dining near by and you are in close proximity to Teton National Park and Jackson Hole. The grounds took advantage of the natural habitat but all man made areas felt makeshift. Unfortunately if it’s windy at all, it will sound like someone is whipping the tent all night long. It got cold so we used the fireplace which was convenient and warm but it is on a thermostat so as it turns off and on the igniter ticks repeatedly. Needless to say we didn’t sleep very well. The hot water was lacking, the shower didn’t drain and the pan filled with water. Overall it was a good experience but I feel the price point is off base.

Know going in the you are glamping. These are unique and I was exited to stay. A couple of things I wish I would have known... There is no longer a hot tub which I was really looking forward to in this setting and is still showed in the photos. I was there in June and the days are long which is wonderful however you will get a 5am wake up call from the sunshine. There are windows in the room without curtains and the door is opaque glass facing east so the sun comes pouring in. If your neighbors are morning people or night owls you will hear them. The vinyl window doesn't keep much in or out. I also had many bugs in the unit. All dead but they just kept appearing each time we opened or closed the large curtain. I did mention this to the staff and was told it was from opening the door. You'll need to bring everything from the car to the unit without a luggage cart. If you understand that this is a glamping experience with no wifi I think you will enjoy this place. There are a lot of positives. I loved the inside and felt that we had our own little place and the deck is amazing to sit outside. If can bring chair definitely do as the chairs there are pretty uncomfortable. In addition have a look at their map and pick a unit with unobstructed views (ex. 1,3,5) They don't charge less for a partial view which we had. This is a great location too. Close to downtown Jackson and Teton Village and the National Park. I would come back just more prepared!

We wanted to experience something a little different - this really hit the mark… it was expensive but still was good value - the view was amazing and the dome was really cool. What put the icing on the cake was a pair of balloons floating by in the morning !

Do not HESITATE to come here! Oh my god! We are sitting in dome at the base of the Grand Tetons and you can NOT believe how beautiful it is! We have views of the Tetons outside of our "glam-yert" that is amazing! I feel like we are in a hobbit hole out of Lord of the Rings. Beautiful! Definitely stay here!

Amazing! The rooms look exactly like they do online. Clean and spacious. They really think of everything…. A bear proof cooler for your use on or off sight. In the front office they have bear spray you can borrow along with any things you forget like a toothbrush. (We never saw a bear ) The room also had extra blankets, a fan, and a portable solar lamp. The kitchen area had a sink, fridge and coffee maker. It was nice sitting outside on the deck at night but the only negative is that the chairs are not comfortable at all. Very low to the ground, small and they seem fragile. The young man at the front office that checked us is was absolutely delightful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a bike path next to the property which is perfect for a morning run or walk. On a Sunday morning while out there I saw a hot air balloon pass by.

The A/C and heating controls took a little bit to understand. Maybe a picture of the remote screens and what the icons mean would help to understand the settings.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Amenities were great, low key/relaxed. Views superb. Very close to the park entrance. Our only issue was our wifi in our "dome" didn't work well. We were able to catch the lobby wifi but it was spotty. We even saw a moose before we left.

If it's windy at night it'll be very noisy in the room. The morning sun wakes you up at 6am because there's no cover for the little window. The ranch view is spectacular.

Full disclosure: I hate writing bad reviews. I truly love the concept of Tammah & I want them to do well because I believe in what they are trying to do. I tried to call them to sort everything out peacefully but the girl who was awful to us answered and claimed I couldn't talk to the manager and couldn't take a message or get in touch with management at all. She said there's no absolutely no way to reach a manager at all so here I am. I truly hope that's a lie; as I would hope that Tammah Management would hold themselves to a higher standard than being completely unavailable even just to take a message and call back. Im still open to coming to a reasonable & peaceful resolution and taking the review down if the manager wants to. Here it goes. The first night was amazing. The staff working on the eve of 5/29 were so kind and inviting and helpful. We were raving about the place saying how much we want to support this business and come back and refer our friends. Night 2 was great too; the guy working the eve of 5/30 was kind and professional and clearly cared deeply about tammah and its success and well being. Night 3 on May 31st was seemingly normal because my partner didnt tell me what happened to him at first to keep the peace. This morning 6/1 @8am we are leaving & he proceeds to tell me that the most absurd thing happened last night on 5/31 around 8pm. He started to grill our food last night and the girl working the eve of 5/31 started screaming at him saying hes not allowed to grill because he doesn't have a reservation. It was 8:15pm and we were starving; I truly don't understand why a staff member would scream at him and tell him to hurry up. The first night the guy working heated the grill up for us and everyone was out there cooking and having a great time. It was so shocking to us after how great and normal night 1 was to be treated like that. She threatened him and told him he only has 15 minutes to grill because she wants to get off work early. Thankfully a couple came by and saw her screaming at him and stood up for him and then she stopped. I paid $602 a night before taxes for this place and to hear that my partner was treated that way while I was inside is ridiculous and Infuriating. She told us multiple times that she wanted to get off work early and she never brought smores out for us or offered to help us with anything. She also informed us that she only works here for the free housing and that she is not staying long term and is going somewhere else next. She only cared about herself and was willing to be awful to us to make sure she got her way. We rushed and left early and she got her way and got off early. This person clearly does not care about the people that come to enjoy tammah or about tammah at all. She was easily the most openly selfish person I've ever met. I was so kind to her and my partner was too even after she was horrible to him. Im happy we were kind to her anyway because she obviously needs love. It was a day and night difference between how we were treated the first night and the last..now we will never come back. Ever. We are nice people and we truly did nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. I am so disappointed in what I thought could be a really special place. I cannot justify spending over $2000 for 3 nights and being treated this badly. If I knew how bad it was here I wouldn't have ever spent money on this place. This was my first time In Wyoming and my first time in a geodome & unfortunately the 1st experience was tainted by the insane lack of ethics and potentially lack of management.
